🚨 MBB Glasgow 2 🚨
COACH ANNOUNCEMENT - Kyle Jimenez

We are excited to confirm that Kyle Jimenez will be coaching at MBB Glasgow 2! 🤩

Kyle, a product of City of Edinburgh Kings, has played basketball all over the U.K.
Being one of the top players in the NBL for Loughborough Riders, Nottingham Hoods and, most recently, Derby Trailblazers.
Kyle has also played in Super League Basketball and won the British Basketball League Trophy in 2023 with the Caledonia Gladiators🏆, as well as playing 2 years in FIBA Europe Cup!

Kyle has also represented Scotland at two Commonwealth Games (2018 & 2022) in both 5v5 and 3x3 settings 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
In the 2022 Birmingham games, Kyle was one of the standout players of the tournament producing some great performances and a game winning shot against Canada!

We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday at Easterhouse for our last camp of the summer! 👀

We are excited to announce that the Spanish guard will be coaching this year at MBB Glasgow 2! 🏀

Maria has played professional basketball throughout Europe and was a member of the Spanish National teams at U16 and U20! 🇪🇸

Maria brings in a lot of basketball experience from all over the world after playing in Canada, Luxembourg, Spain, Belgium, and, most recently in Switzerland! 🇨🇭

This past season, Maria competed in the prestigious Eurocup with her team Elfic Fribourg Basketball where she averaged 10.5ppg and shot an incredible 50% from 3! 📈

🚨MBB Falkirk🚨
COACH ANNOUNCEMENT- Ali Fraser

We are excited to confirm that Ali Fraser will be coaching this summer at MBB Falkirk!🏀

Ali played for his hometown team Falkirk Fury before playing on a scholarship at NCAA Division 1 College, Maine Black Bears, where he averaged 13ppg and 8rpg in his final year. This resulted in Ali being named to the American East Conference second team! 🇺🇸

After an exceptional collegiate career, Ali then went on to play professional basketball in Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and France, as well as being a standout player in the British Basketball League for the Caledonia Gladiators/Glasgow Rocks. Ali also won the league when playing for the Leicester Riders in 2020/21, and the BBL Trophy with the Caledonia Gladiators in 2023! 🇬🇧

Ali has represented Scotland at numerous tournaments. Most notably at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia and lead the side to wins over England and Nigeria. Ali also featured in Great Britain’s 2013 Eurobasket campaign at just 21 years old! 🇪🇺

Regarded as one of Scotlands best ever players, Ali is renowned for his post play, midrange game and basketball IQ which has helped him dominate in various leagues all over the world! 🌍

🚨 MBB Glasgow 2 🚨
COACH ANNOUNCEMENT- Kieron Achara MBE 🏀

We are excited to confirm that Kieron Achara will be coaching at our MBB Glasgow Camp 2!

Kieron, one of Scotlands most decorated players, started his playing career at Falkirk Fury and later attended NCAA Division 1 college, Duquesne University, before turning professional! 🏀

Kieron played in some of the highest leagues in Europe including the top Spanish, Greek and Italian leagues, as well as competing in the Eurocup. Kieron then returned to the Glasgow Rocks to finish his professional basketball career, where his jersey was retired in honour of his exceptional career! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Kieron has also enjoyed a very successful international career with both Scotland and Great Britain. Appearing in Eurobasket’s, captaining Scotland at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, and representing Great Britain’s at the 2012 Olympic Games, Kieron brings a ton of experience and knowledge to the camp! 🇬🇧

We hope you are as excited to have Kieron at the camp as we are!

Thank you to everyone for attending our MBB Edinburgh camp this past weekend. We had 30 campers on court over the weekend working on their game and focusing on skill development as well in team play and game situations.

COACH ANNOUNCEMENT- Patrick Whelan 🏀

We are excited to confirm that GB international, Patrick Whelan, will be coaching at our MBB Dundee Camp!

After a stellar college career at William Jewel University, Patrick signed for Real Murcia CB, where he played 3 seasons. His team won LEB Silver in Spain during his time there and gained promotion into LEB Gold!

Patrick then returned to the UK where he signed for the Leicester Riders. After two seasons in Leicester, Patrick then signed for the Caledonia Gladiators. During his time in the British Basketball League, Patrick has won the BBL Championship, BBL Cup and BBL Playoffs. Patrick has solidified himself as one of the best professional players in the country as he has been selected for the All-British First Team every year he has played in the U.K!

After being regarded as the best 3 point shooter in professional basketball in Britain, Patrick was selected to represent GB at the 2022 Eurobasket and has become a key player for the squad. For the past two summers, Patrick has played in the CEBL, the highly competitive Canadian summer league, where he has represented the Niagara River Lions in 2023, and the Ottawa Black Jacks in 2024!
