Nathan and Ella Luo have found the perfect combination, mixing their summer holiday with
badminton training and competition in China.
They were competing in the Shenzhen Kumpoo Open.
Nathan was runner up the U17 boys
singles and Ella reached the quarterfinals of the U12 girls singles.
What a fantastic opportunity for them and we are looking forward to hearing from them when they return. 🏸🥈

Meanwhile some of our U19 players were competing in the prestigious All England Junior
Tournament in Birmingham. As expected the level of play was very high and the GBA players all
performed superbly with there being fine margins between winning and losing.

Lewis Smith & Katie Boult - Mixed Doubles quarter finals

Jaagruti Mannem won through 2 rounds of singles before losing in the last 16 of the Ladies
singles. It was a fantastic performance from Jaagruti as she is still U17!

Great to see everyone’s hard work in training paying off when it matters. 💪👏
