TIPS FOR A TRAINING SLUMP 😮💨
Everyone has periods where their training takes a hit. It may be that you reached your most recent goal and now feel a little lost on what to do next, or perhaps you've had a change in your routine, like a new job or moving house, that’s thrown you off track.
Please know that this is normal. The fact that you fell off track is not important—what’s important is finding a way to get going again. The sooner you do, the better!

A little bit of info about TWD and what I hope to build with this little brand of mine👇
Over the past year and a half, working in a commercial gym and meeting people from all walks of life, I've realized that many people aren’t sure where to start when it comes to exercise or how incredibly beneficial it can be. This isn’t their fault at all and just stepping into the gym and wanting to learn, at any age, is a huge achievement.
Putting aesthetics aside (pls and thnks) Exercise can do so much more than just change how you look. It can help alleviate that nagging lower back pain you’ve had for months, or the knee pain you feel when climbing stairs. Many of these aches and pains can be addressed with personalized exercise programs.
Exercise can make carrying shopping, lifting boxes above your head, moving furniture and standing up from a low seat sooo much easier.
Exercise can boost your confidence in yourself, help you cope during tough times, and make those mental battles just that little bit easier.
Exercise can heal pain, eliminate weakness and provide mental comfort. Movement is Medicine - and that is all I want to teach people (as many people as possible)

For the past year and a half I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Nuffield Health East Kilbride.
I’ve made so many new friends and met incredible people along the way. As this chapter closes and a new one starts I just want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone I met and made me feel so welcome at the club. Wishing you nothing but the best.

💪 THE STRONG GIRL CLUB 💪
When I first started exercising it was purely to try and stay as lean as I possibly could, over the years my goals have shifted from focusing on the weight on the scale to enjoying the process of working out, watching my strength grow and just being grateful that I have a body that can move without restriction!
Gone are the days that exercise is only used to lose weight and now a lot of us have the goal of just wanting to look and feel strong, loosening our fixation with the weight on the scale. So what better way to achieve those goals then by being part of a club of like-minded, friendly, supportive gals to keep you accountable and on track.
There are two different plans within this challenge to choose from- a home based program or a gym based program. Each month - a program will be prescribed consisting of three workouts and one mobility session for each member of the club to complete, we will have a personal group with all members to chat, share their progress and overall to just be there to support one another.
So if this is something you feel like you could enjoy - join me and the rest of the “Strong Girls” on our mission towards greater heights and heavier weights 💪🔥
