The sun is shining on our little corner of Glasgow, so here’s a wee love letter to the place we call home.

Before it was Reset, our studio was the music room.

The Schoolhoue at 101 Portman Street began as a primary school in 1890. Now more than a century later the tiled corridors, stairwells, original floors, brickwork and ironwork remain - but behind the old classroom doors, something new is always being created.

Artists, filmmakers, musicians, founders and some of Glasgows loveliest independent business. Facials, safety, bodywork, newsrooms, b**r, podcasts, beauty, production, food and the of course the summer Sub Club rooftop parties.

Over the past 4 years, one Reset studio became two and now we’re growing again all within these walls.

It’s still a school of some sorts. A place to create, learn, study, laugh, make friends and try something new.

For the Pilates people who have yet to be still for more than 5 minutes, and the yogis who only know one definition of a pulse.

Ellen leads a proper mat Pilates session, then Jules brings it right down with a sound bath.

An autumnal naughty sweet treat from Kaf after, if we’re lucky.

No rushing off.

The last weekend of August, how did this happen.

Our long summer evenings are disappearing and routines are back. We’re secretly buzzing for a new season.

We spent the summer months trialling things, changing things and most importantly asking you what you wanted more of.

So heading into September:

No commitment, join month to month
Unlimited Mat: £79 for your first month
NHS + student discounts
Community classes on a sliding scale
Annual membership is back

And over in the reformer studio, our Unlimited Mat + Reformer membership is now open at £160 per month.

A little reset (it’s a good word) for the new season.
