If I was a beginner running running 3 times a week and I was wanting to improve - this is what I would do:
✅Slow down a little.
If you're running 3 times a week you shouldn't be destroying yourself on any runs. Easy miles, for weeks at a time. This will help you improve week after week without sickening yourself.
✅Add a little structure.
It doesn't need to be much - the sessions I email out for free every week will help massively, but if you can't manage them then you can try the session but half the time of every effort - while keeping the recovery the same. This will get your legs, body, and mind used to running different paces.
✅Focus on consistency.
Having 6 good weeks is better than having 2 perfect weeks and 4 guff ones. This applies no matter your level.
Don't focus on the next thing - run how your fitness allows today, stick at it, and it'll come. It takes time, but that's where the fun is.
If you want a free session emailed to you every week to help you improve - DM me your email address and I'll send you the session each week.

If you're someone that's done one of the 10Ks recently, or any other races for that matter, and you've been following an online plan - moving sessions to suit, having to guess your pacing and feeling like you're not progressing or it's feeling harder than it should...
That's where coaching comes in.
I take the guess work out of your training.
Whether you're chasing your first 10K, taking on a marathon, heading into the trails, building towards an ultra, or anything in between having the right plan and the right support, and doing the work you don't feel like doing at times makes a huge difference.
I've been coaching runners for years, and I still have a coach myself.
I've got a coaching spot just opened - if you're interested in getting to your next finish line faster, then send me a message.
Whatever your level, whatever the clouds 🤘

MERCH UPDATE
The hoodies/t shirts are due to arrive mid/end June.
I'll update closer to the time. Once I have them it will take me a day or two to sort out and then I'll be able to deliver them/bring them to Run Rhaw for collection/post them etc.
Thank you.
