Meanwhile Lorraine Morrison and Gary Moore fought their way to the quarter finals.

Dublin Open Success

Lovely to see three of our BAM members bring home silver medals from the Dublin Open this week.

Lorraine Morrison and Jackie Marlow took silver in the Over 60s Women’s Doubles, and Jim Reynolds, partnering Gary Moore, won silver in the Over 60s Men’s Doubles.

Well done to both pairs on some great results. 🥈🥈👏👏

Belgium Open Bronze for Caroline!

A huge congratulations to BAM member Caroline King on winning a bronze medal at the Belgium Open this weekend in the Over 60 Women’s Doubles (3.5–4.5).

It’s always great to see one of our members enjoying success on the international stage. Well done, Caroline! 👏🥉

Whether you have never picked up a paddle before or are simply curious to see what pickleball is all about, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go. It is a fun, friendly and sociable sport that is easy to learn and suitable for all ages and abilities.

Equipment can be provided, so all you need to bring is comfortable clothing and trainers.

Great afternoon of Pickleball at Scotstoun international badminton academy. Americano tournament with some amazing games and sportsmanship. 1st Ian Jean 2nd David 3rd. Well done to everyone who took part especially to Juanita who organised it.

Lovely to see two of our BAM members, Mhairi Adam and Juanita Spooner, at a Royal Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse this afternoon, representing pickleball in their roles as Chair and Secretary of Pickleball Scotland. The rain thankfully stayed off for the occasion!

Great to see pickleball, and BAM, in such good company👑.
