Our 2023/24 8-Ball season begins next month with SUPA!

This competition is a two-day event between the Scottish Universities. It will be at the Shandon Snooker and Pool hall in Edinburgh between the 26th and 27th of October.

Whether you're a seasoned player or just want to get involved and have some fun, this competition is a great way to experience some competitive pool.

If you are interested in playing, please fill out the Google form (link in bio)
Feel free to DM us or ask our team coordinator Theo if you have any questions!

Please note that you may be able to play for us even if you're at a student at an institution other than Strathclyde - as long as your institution is not taking its own team. We’d love to have you on board!

📝MEMBERSHIP 2024/25📝

Hey everyone!

We're so pleased to finally announce our membership options for the 2024/25 season!

We're facing a lot of pressure from the Sports Union this year in terms of our Monday night regulars being affiliated, so becoming an official member is more important than ever before. The budget for the club is allocated based on membership numbers, so buying a membership really helps! It is also worth noting that you will need a membership if you want to play at BUCS and other competitions throughout the year.

We've also done everything we can to keep membership attractive in its own right. Firstly, we've introduced different two different membership options to provide flexibility and to reward dedicated Monday night attendees.
Secondly, we've been working hard to secure as many deals as we can with various bars and venues. These are designed so that our players can get the most out of their memberships, whilst giving back to local businesses at the same time.

To purchase a membership, just go to the link in our bio to get to the sports union page, then scroll to the bottom. Please also complete the Bunker form at this time, otherwise you won't be able to get your card.

Once you've purchased a membership, we'll send you an email with a reminder of all the perks as well as any e-vouchers or QR codes. We'll get your membership packet with your physical cards and some other goodies to you at the next Monday tournament you attend after purchase!

It's also worth mentioning that you will need to be a Sports Union member (£30 for the year) to be able to get a pool membership, but if you're already a member of another sport, you won't have to buy it again.

Any questions? Just send us a DM or ask Scott at a Monday tournament or via messenger.

Hi everyone,
Just a quick reminder that there will be no Monday tournament for 3 weeks due to the union being shut.

Just as the union is getting ready for the new academic year, so are we! The committee is currently working very hard to plan ahead and prepare for another great year of pool! More details to come soon, but in the meantime, enjoy the rest of your summer!

The union will reopen on Monday 19th August.

See you soon! 🎱

⛱️SUMMER SCHEDULE☀️

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer! In case you weren't aware, our Monday Night Tournaments will keep running every week throughout the break, as long as the union is open and we have enough people.

Even if you're a newcomer, now is
great time to play some super casual pool with some great people! The tournament starts at 7pm every Monday, with £4 entry (free for girls). There is a group stage followed by knockouts (which everyone progresses to).

Please let us know if you will be coming either by sending us a message or voting in the poll in the Facebook Messenger chat (DM us to be added).

If you have any questions, just shoot us a message!
