So much fun, progress and proud moments this month!

✨ Senior Display Team training at Twisters Gymnastics Academy - such a welcoming gym, we loved it!
🎂 Lead Coach Marcella’s birthday… complete with very enthusiastic crash mat bumps 😂
⭐ Our very first Star Gymnast from Tuesday pre-school - amazing!
💃 Intermediates learning the Gymfest dance
💪 Hard work, focus and brilliant attitudes across the whole club
👏 Huge well done to two of our coaches who have been working towards their Level 1 qualification - exciting times ahead!

March at MGC 💙 (a little late… but worth the wait!)

March was a very busy month! We didn’t get the chance to post at the time but we couldn’t not share it!

From our new Tuesday Pre-School, Acro & Tumble classes thriving to our first trip to Inverclyde National Sports Centre proudly wearing our lovely VSN kit provided by our sponsors KLC Projects and Target Communications.

We loved training alongside City of Glasgow Gymnastics Club and being coached by Dan Cook. A great experience for our display team gymnasts.

Lots of new skills achieved, coach & gymnast Olivia turned 18 🎉, one of our young leaders was selected for the Scottish Gymnastics Youth Forum and 4 young leaders represented us at the Mearns Community Sports Hub meeting.

Our 2026 Annual Competition was a huge success thanks to the team and all of our volunteers ❤️. Our display teams performed their new routines beautifully.

Huge well done to our gymnasts involved in WINNING the East Renfrewshire Primary Dance Championships 2026 🏆 and to Coach Caitlin on her first boxing WIN!

We also loved welcoming Scottish Gymnastics to our ASN classes.

🎄✨ Festive Fun Day – Saturday 13th December! ✨🎄

Our last class before the winter break will be a Festive Fun Day, taking place during your child’s usual class time at Parklands Sports Hall! 🤸‍♀️

⭐ Festive Stalls – Supporting Our Display Gymnasts!

Pop in before or after class to browse our festive stalls. The fundraising committee and display gymnasts have organised:

🦌 Guess the name of the reindeer
🍬 Guess how many sweeties are in the jar
💙 Handmade MGC bracelets
🍪 Homemade MGC sweet treats
🤸‍♀️ Pre-loved gymnastics clothing & soft toys

Most items will be £1–£2, so please remember to bring some change!

All funds raised will go directly towards our Display Team’s Inverclyde trip in March.
