I do not miss that fatty on the left.

Its funny looking back at the way I used to live my life, questionable chapters filled with questionable acts, behaviours & some outright bad decisions.

Life’s a journey, it’s unique to each of us, not a right or wrong way to lead your life, it’s yours - just don’t hurt animals, people or do anything morally wrong.

I have changed drastically over the years, completely rewired my brain and outlook to life (few times over).

Want to know the one thing that’s actually stuck and kept me somewhat mentally stable over the years?

Exercising. Training. Lifting. Whatever you want to call it.

Take the coaching patter out of it, it’s genuinely an anchor in my life and for many others out there.

Keeps the head in check, releases stress, changes your mood for the better, keeps you healthy fit and able.

There’s a long list of benefits, but it’s not all just fitness lingo, it genuinely is an asset.

Now if you want to max out and become a better character in life then fixing your food is crucial, also supports energy, focus etc.

I’m not saying cut out the takeaways, the booze, the party drugs. But I am saying if you restrict this (or cut some of the examples out😂) then you will live a happier life and have happier days.

PS to ultimately max life, get a dog, or 2.

It really doesn’t need to be overcomplicated, just stick to doing what you have been doing, do the sunshine activities and sociable stuff, but then just go back on plan.

The biggest thing that makes the most impact is neglecting your training, a wee day sesh here and there isn’t going to reverse all your progress - it’s putting every single aspect of fitness on a hold.

Maintain diet best as can, same with training, go out & have fun, back to plan. Simple.

Just posting for awareness, some people are still blind to the dangers of what’s around them.

This was at around 7pm too, still light, really busy streets.. so imagine how volatile things could be when it’s dark and streets are quiet.

Didn’t get a video or picture of this guy, but there’s hundreds of them lurking the streets so don’t be naive and be more vigilant. (Especially if you are a female)

Every. Single. Year.

Fitness is a lifestyle choice, not a quick fix every year.

Doing an 8 week extreme diet to try drop body fat to only revert back to your old ways after a holiday is a poor mindset to keep.

Firstly dieting hard isn’t fun, fatigues the body, mentally challenging, you hate the process. Which might be why you don’t like keeping fitness consistent because this is the only type of experience you have when you do it.

Do it year round, your energy, mood, confidence and mindset will shift massively - don’t forget how much healthier your body will be too!

Be smart. Do better.
