What out for scammers pretending to be your bank fraud department. Had a call just now from a mobile number asking me to press a key to talk with someone as my visa account has seen a number of transactions from China.
Please hang up check your account online or speak directly with your bank on the number on your bank card or from a paper statement!
Do not enter into any conversation with these fraudsters or give them any information.
Please make sure you tell any vulnerable people you know how to deal with this

There's loads of great things about our communities, but still lots that needs done to improve people's lives.
It's vital that peoples voices influence the priorities. We want to share information about new ways to make your view known about what's needed to deal with the challenges. Now there's laws that are in place to give you more rights to do this.

The Chirnsyde primary school are giving away food on Christmas Eve which is donate from big brand Supermarkets like M&S, Lidl and Aldi
This really is a big help to many local people and we appreciate and respect the Head Teacher, Jackie MacIver, and her team for doing this every year as we know how much local people benefit from it. It's a last minute chance to help to get the Christmas Dinner sorted out and it won't cost a penny - which is brilliant!
Thanks Jackie, we appreciate everything you and your team do for this community both during and after the school day.
People Helping People.
