Great day for a game on a decent grass pitch and we looked to get the ball down n played some good football grabbing a goal after good pressing gave Maxwell the chance to play in Peo for a tap in, carelessness at the back let Milngavie back into it then Maxwell scored again to make it 2-1, another Milngavie made it 2-2 going into HT.

2nd half n lots of action back and forth and was us that took our chances, 2 good finishes from Aaron n one from Maxwell put us 5-2 up 💪 Milngavie needing a win to keep pushing for the title came at us strong and we also had a couple different players in different positions try to get Daniel his 1st goal of season swapped him up front from def, credit to Milngavie got back into the game and finished 5-5. Stuff to learn to keep the lead and not get complacent but overall boys should be happy with performance 👌

MOTM, goes to the full squad not just for today's performance but for the season over all, came on massively from last season and should be proud of our Div Cup and Blackpool Cup Trophies with also couple festival wins in there, Well done team 👏 👏👏

Away trip today playing on a good pitch which should suit the way we like to play football, took a bit to get into it with some sloppy passing but once we started connecting boys looked good getting in some good scoring positions just final shot/pass letting us down. Conceded against a corner not dealing with the ball into the box aggressively enough, got a goal back after Peo was quick with cross in causing danger which Caelan pounced on n drove home 1-1

2nd half boys played some good stuff at times but also gave ball away cheaply. Conceded from a pen then some good football to get our 2nd Mikey confidently carry ball from back simple pass to Lewis who played lovely thru ball to Maxwell who took couple nice touches n finished over the GK, 2-2 finished

Overall boys played well, mention to few boys playing different positions today, Iain solid in unfamiliar CB role 💪

MOTM goes to Peo, constant threat going forward from RB getting an assist and also solid defensively 💪👏👏

Great day to play the beautiful game ⚽️
A nervy start to tight and well contested game!
Boys looked composed throughout and stuck to their philosophy of playing the ball on the deck and working hard for each other.
A scrappy first half at times but moments of good interlinked football without being able to create clear cut chances for each other.
Having conceded a second half goal, caution was thrown to the wind as the boys chased a goal of their own and just needed a bit of luck to make the most of their hard work from a disciplined performance.

MOTM to Iain for tirelessly working in the midfield and looking to break up play and start positive attacks
