WORLD CUP FEVER @ BARLIA

Join us before each Scotland Group game .. 2 hours of football fun. Open access for children, families, young people, adults and anyone with an interest in the beautiful game and help us celebrate the Scotland National team getting to the 2026 World Cup.

We will have small sided games, skills challenges, free play and special give aways......including a prize draw for a Scotland top each day.

Please enter via the front door as we require to take some details for monitoring and evaluation purposes. Parents are welcome to get involved or take a break in the community room overlooking the pitches.

We will have some food and refreshments available during the 2 hour sessions.

13th June Saturday 2-4pm
19th June Friday 6-8pm
24th June Wednesday 6-8pm

There will also be a QR code on each day to allow people to provide feedback on the events.

Today we were blown away by the generosity shown by 2 firms both tagged we have no words to describe but i will try first off special thanks to Andy Richard and Colin the machine that they loaned us today was an eye opener the operator a greenkeeper with 15 years experience couldn't belive how easy it cut through the wet grass and the finish it left was absolutely top quality it ploughed through the mess the council machine left in really wet condition the Baroness machine handled itself superbly and for being nearly 2 tons of equipment it moved around wet ground no problem these 2 firms have done more for us than anybody else i cannot thank them enough for stepping in with the best help we have had from any firm top class from all involved thank you so so much youv put us back in the game and in these times when things are tight for everyone they donated a machine today that we couldnt ever hope to use

Hi folks due to the weather and the council cutting the fairways far to short and leaving the grass cuttings all over the fairways we cant get the fairways cleaned up until its dry for a few days they have also cut all the way round the edge of the course and not cut 5 of the holes we have been using however we will be back down next week when our machine is fixed as we lost a belt on our mower ride on trying to clean up the mess the council left sorry folks but we will be back down next week
