On Wednesday we said our final farewell to 5 of GCU’s finest, we’re so happy these amazing women decided to play with the team this year, they will always hold a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to see what the future may hold for them ❤️

On Wednesday we played two of our fav teams over at west rugby club, we played the best we had all season and we couldn’t be prouder of every person that pulled on a strip and played for us today ❤️ we are also immensely proud of those who pulled on their gcu strip for the last time, we’re so grateful to have had you all play on the team this season and wish you all the best in your future adventures ❤️

Our gal of the game picked by Strathclyde uni went to .simps_x for her fabulous jackles, cheeky tries and positive energy on the pitch 🫶🫶

Our gal of the game picked by Glasgow Uni went to who worked hard in the scrums and ran some strong lines 💪

Our back of the match chosen by GCU went to , Eilidh was quick on her feet, always there for support and made some fabulous tackles winning us a few line outs 😉

Our forward of the match went to for making strong breaks, big tackles and throwing straight in the lineouts yayyy 🥚

Join us this Wednesday for the long awaited TAXI CUPPPPPPPPPP WOOOOOOOOO where we will play both Strathclyde and Glasgow uni for the ultimate Glasgow sports competition of the year
All games will take place on Wednesday the 25th march and be played at west of scotland rugby club in milngavie, game times are as follows:
GCU vs Strath @1:30
Strath vs GU @2:30
GU vs GCU @3:30

Another hard fought game against strath today. Despite dropping to 11 v 15 these girls put in a tremendous effort to keep the vibes high on the pitch, making strong tackles and hard runs and we couldn’t be prouder 🫶 we were even blessed with some beautiful weather today with the sun shining bright it was a good day for rugby 💙

Our gal of the game picked by strath was .simps_x , Ellie showed off her incredible turn over skills with some sneaky jackals, she’s a string player who showed consistent support in the rucks and pods and kept the structure strong within the forward pack grrr 💪

Our forward of the match went to , “Neve was everywhere on the pitch. She was making hard lines here, there, and everywhere. Really difficult to tackle, just kind of aggressive, and carried on no matter what, and just always put a shift in every single time, just a steam engine “ choo choo 🚂

Our back of the match went to oor wee @0._.rachel , “rachel got thrown into a quite a difficult position at scrum half. she wasn’t meant to be playing today at all, and then last night said, put me on the bench, and came and saved us, she had a fab game at nine, quid to the rucks and was everywhere we needed her to be at all times” whoosh 🏃‍♀️
