Loch Lomond Angling Improvement Association Loch Lomond Angling Improvement Association Website. Salmon, Sea Trout and Coarse fishing on Loch Lo Here at the L.L.A.I.A our aim is simple.

It is to provide our membership, and visiting anglers, with the highest quality and best value Salmon and Sea Trout fishing in Britain. Almost the whole system is under the jurisdiction of the L.L.A.I.A and we offer probably the most diverse and extensive range of fishing opportunity open to any angling club in the UK. The L.L.A.I.A also has control over and issues permits for coarse fishing on Loch Lomond. Our fishings range from freshwater loch, to salt water estuary and from big river to spate rivers. This means there is always something available to the adaptable angler! Waters include the whole of Loch Lomond, all of the River Leven, extensive parts of the Rivers Endrick and Fruin as well as the River Leven estuary, the Salmon and Sea Trout fishing on the north bank of the Clyde estuary and the majority of the Gareloch and Kilcreggan peninsula.

FOUND: A collapsible landing net was found earlier this week (18th September) by another angler at the Top Pool on the Leven . The angler kindly passed the net to one of our bailiffs.

​It’s clearly well-loved and packed with gear, and we'd love to get it back to its rightful owner.

At last, a big congratulations to Pat Millar on landing the first reported Salmon of the season! A lovely fish estimated at around 10-12lbs caught on an Orange & Gold Rapala. Well done Pat.

A reminder to all of our anglers fishing the River Leven this weekend. The Annual 'Kilt walk' is taking place during Saturday 25th (& Sunday 26th) therefore the footpath will be busier than normal. Would all anglers please be mindful of this when fishing, casting etc..
