As an agre group we’re massively proud to have been a part of Pollok United soccer Academy for so long especially in our last year as a grassroots team.

This award is so well deserved and is testament to the hard work of all of our amazing volunteers and staff.

UEFA Grassroots Awards 2025/26: Best Grassroots Club Scotland's Pollok United have won the 2025/26 UEFA Grassroots Award for Best Grassroots Club for their work providing local communities with opportunities in football and well-being.

Facility Update – Nethercraigs, Summer 2025 🏗️

You may have noticed improvement works underway at our Nethercraigs facility — here’s a quick update on the progress:

✔️ AstroTurf Resurfacing

Major upgrades are underway, delivering more reliable, all-weather playing surfaces for local football teams, from youth to grassroots level.

✔️ Grass Pitches

Now fertilised and resting, the grass pitches will be freshly lined and ready for use ahead of our planned late summer 2025 reopening.

✔️ Upgraded Lighting

New LED lighting is being installed on the rugby pitch and around the building — improving safety, extending usable hours, and reducing energy use.

✔️ Building Improvements

Ongoing work on the cladding and roof is boosting weather resilience and long-term sustainability, ensuring the facility serves the community for many years to come.

The finish line is in sight and we’re incredibly excited to welcome you back later this summer. Thank you for your patience and support as we build a better, brighter future for everyone at Nethercraigs and our local community🙌

Pollok United 2008 blacks are on the lookout for new new players as we prepare for next season.

With an opportunity to push towards Pollok Uniteds new WOSFL under 20 development side next season and beyond.
