Unite Against Cancer need little introduction. Funding research into new treatments for rare types of cancer, the charity and the community as a whole have achieved a huge amount since inauguration in 2012. Most recently, the charity established the Christopher Douglas Smith scholarship for the Cancer Sciences MSc course at Glasgow University - a clear message of our collective intention to defeat

I can barely hold my phone still to type this as my hands won't stop shaking. The last year of training hasn't been easy for either of us at all. Tomorrow is not going to be easy in the slightist. However, what will make it easier when the klaxon sounds at 7am tomorrow morning is the knowledge that so many people have united with us to raise so muchbmoney for such an incredible cause that is so close to so many of our hearts. What we endure tomorrow will not even come close to what someone with cancer goes through. This will be the toughest physical challenge either of us have ever attempted but with every stroke, pedal and step we take tomorrow we are pushed on by what YOU have all raised. Today we reached £12, 000 and there is no reasom for us to stop there. From both of us, we want to say thank you and we will try our very hardest to succeed in the name of Unite Against Cancer. Lots of love, Ali and Hugo. Lets do this!!!
