I’m always harping on about the seasonal nature of training.

When the stars align, devoting more time to your training is brilliant.

But when they don’t, efficiency is the name of the game!

Life long fitness means getting it in when the going isn’t easy. Not having enough time shouldn’t be a barrier!

4 sets might not seem that many, but research backs its efficacy up provided you absolutely hammer those 4 sets.

8 reps can get as much tension as 16.

Big lifts are fun and time efficient.

Home workouts are good in and of themselves, but as ‘filler’ sessions during busy seasons they really come into themselves.

And yeah, a coach also makes the whole process infinitely smoother. In my completely unbiased opinion.

TLDR Use appropriate weights with good enough form, till the tough bit of the movement slows down on its own.

This is an even bigger deal if you’re not able to hit the gym 5 days a week.

If you’re cramming your weekly totals into a short time frame, you better make sure those reps and sets are as effective as humanly possible!
