The boys played brilliantly today and persevered to get into the plays offs which we lost on penalties.

The all worked hard today in the wind and rain and showed their spirit so well done to all.

I'm told one of Paddy's goals was the goal of the tournament!

11's are coming together boys and a big thanks to all for sticking at it !

Presentation night will be on Monday at Turnbull 6pm arrival for a 630pm start.

No training this week, have a well deserved rest.

West Park 02 team made it to the cup final after a brilliant first 11'a season.

The last Gold team 7s league match was played this morning and it was a "success"....

Well done to all who took part. Both teams are now officially one. Wee Aiden and Fionn even managed to watch before their fun 4s started.

No training this Tuesday but Thursday is as normal at Turnbull.

Carbrain festival is this Saturday with all details to follow.

Great match tonight at Little Kerse. The new team did a brilliant job.

We had a few moments of brilliance and a few slips but it is all part of the development and the coming together of the team.

Well done done coaches and players tonight.

Skys vs Kilsyth

All the lads got a warm up from star defender Ziggy Gordon from Hamilton Academical tonight who took time out to watch the match as well!

What a match today where we went down and came back! The best team talk I've ever heard from Big Josh at half time. Some of lads had a bit of an attitude in the first half but Big Josh sorted that out for the 2nd...

That was officially our last 7 a side match as we move to 11 a side as of next week.

The new 11 a side team will still be called Skys and I'd like to thank all those involved in running the 7's team since we started over 4 years ago.

We've been on a long journey to get to this point and the parents who have showed their support and loyalty has been very much appreciated.

11 a side will be a learning process for all involved Raymond, Michael, Stevie and Josh will be brilliant at developing the team.

West Park are focussed on being an inclusive community team and we will always support those children who need football as part of their lives no matter what their background. Sometimes it's not just about winning but about getting all the boys working together and forming friendships that they would never have had without West Park.

It is confirmed that a Hamilton Accies first team player and one of their top goal scorers for this season will be taking a training session on Thursday 28th May at Turnbull. There will be Accies staff attending too!
