It was a bit of an improvement today before a ball was kicked, 4 call offs but we had 11 players🙌 Steph stepped up and jumped in the sticks with our goalie missing, credit where’s it’s due👏

We found ourselves 2-0 up with goals from Wullie & Scott, but the lack of subs came back to bite us in the arse as the boys couldn’t keep the lead for the full 90. Take the result away from it, very good performance at times from us - a few subs today and that’s a different scoreline but we kick on.

Our socials have been too quiet for too long but we’re back at it and should be posting regularly from now on🙏

To catch up since our last post, it’s been a difficult period for the boys due to poor availability we had to forfeit the East End Heart game and the last 2 games being played with 10 men🤦‍♂️ the boys that showed were a credit to themselves and the club though, as they left it all out there with everything lined up against them, it’s appreciated it lads💛

We’ve got a few new faces in and hopefully some of the boys coming back so fingers crossed we can get a bit of consistency for the remainder of the season🫡

We are delighted to announce that after a long wait we finally have some movement in regard to Penilee Pitch!

We are hosting a consultation evening in the Penilee Community Centre next Thursday between 6-8pm if anyone would like to pop in and hear our proposal, and most importantly give us some feedback on services you’d like to see at the facility. There is feedback forms available at the community centre if you can’t make it on the night or alternatively get in touch with the club and we’d be happy to get these to you.

The winner of this week’s Player of the Week put in an outstanding MOTM performance on Friday night against Ashfield and has been recognised for the hard he put into this game by his coaches. Head Coach Andy Hardie added “JR being awarded player of the week is thoroughly deserved for his second half performance, hard working, committed tackles, creating chances and supporting his teammates.”
