Well after 11 months on the road the Human Race exhibition has ended. We have had the best time. More than 300,000 people saw the exhibition with over 6,000 people coming to one or more of the associated events.
We would like to thank all the venues, artists, lenders, speakers and everyone else who made this such an enjoyable project and we look forward to working with you again.
I love this image of the roof above the main pool at Govanhill Baths (our final venue), so I thought I would share it.

We invited young people from across Scotland to enter a competition to design a sports related product that could be used by the athlete of the future. We were looking for interesting and original ideas that used the themes of the Human Race exhibition as a starting point. Of the many high standard entries we received, Noi McMillan’s ‘Smart Shoe’ was chosen as the overall winner. Noi's winning entry will be on display at Govanhill Baths next year
