The draft Scottish Mountain Biking Strategy 2026–2036 is now open for public consultation.

Whether you're a weekend rider, volunteer, trail builder, coach, racer, guide or simply love getting out on your bike, your views will help shape the future of mountain biking in Scotland.

Scotland has built an international reputation for mountain biking thanks to the passion of its communities, volunteers, land managers and partners. As we look ahead to the next decade, it's essential that the new strategy reflects the ambitions and experiences of the people who ride, build, maintain and support our trails.

Find out more, download the draft strategy and have your say by the 17th August. The new Strategy will be launched at the Scottish Mountain Bike Conference later this year (more details on that coming soon)
