Beth has been poling for around 6 years and got obsessed pretty much from that first class. She loves learning new tricks and styles, as well as all the different things sheās got to try from starting pole, like aerial and fire spinning. Sheās just getting started in competing and teaching this year too and enjoying indoctrinating others into the upside down way of life. Despite training at Dionneās studio pole princess all this time, she has never been able to perform at megapole mostly due to travelling, so she is so excited to make her debut

My pole dance journey began six years ago with my first beginner pole class. Iāve never been a fan of traditional gym workouts, the thought of being on a treadmill bored me to tears, and pole offered a fun and exhilarating way to stay fit. I was instantly hooked!
Initially, I was obsessed with mastering every pole trick I could find on Insta, but everything changed when I got my first pair of Pleasers and gathered up enough confidence to try a pole choreo class. That experience was nothing short of life-changing, as it revealed my true passion!
I love playing around with different pole dance styles, but the dynamic nature of Hard Heels is definitely my āthingā! The fast movements, unexpected transitions, kips and heel bangs keep me engaged, boost my confidence, make me feel empowered. These choreos challenge me technically and push me to improve my skills.
Iām so excited to join all the amazing performers on the Megapole Glasgow 2024 stage!

Hi Iām Tawny.
Iāve been poling for around 10 years and teaching for 3 at PB Dance & Fitness in Ayrshire. I love pole as its gave me a space to be myself and meet some of my closest friends. Those kind of people that never judge you and are always there to bring up your spirits when youāre having a bad time.
My style is very much about having fun and just enjoying the experience. I have had a recent injury of a hamstring tear which is finally almost healed.
This is my first time performing at megapole and Iām looking forward to it.

The first time Icy (icy__moves on Instagram) entered a pole dance studio was nearly four years ago. Since that day, pole has literally taken over her live: when sheās not training, sheās putting combos and routines in her head - she thinks about pole all the time! She also loves sharing her passion for pole with her friends, many of whom have been up her home pole more than once. This year Icy decided that itās finally time to showcase her skills on a stage. Icyās first performance took place less than a month ago, and itās fair to say that she absolutely loved it, as sheās back for more, this time to perform at the Megapole.
