Bowls Scotland Survey.

Dear Member Clubs, Associations and Affiliates,

Today, Bowls Scotland launched a national consultation to help inform the development of our next strategy for 2027-2031, and we would like to invite your club to take part.

As we look ahead, it is important that the future direction of our sport is shaped by the experiences, challenges and ambitions of those involved in bowls across Scotland. Whether you are a club volunteer, coach, official, player or supporter, your views matter and can help influence the priorities that will guide Bowls Scotland over the coming years.

The consultation explores:

Bowls in your local area

The work of Bowls Scotland

The opportunities and challenges facing the sport

Priorities for the next Bowls Scotland strategy

We would welcome one collective response from each club, reflecting the views and experiences of your organisation. In addition, we strongly encourage individual members to complete the survey themselves, ensuring we hear from as many people involved in bowls as possible.

We would therefore be grateful if you could share the consultation with your members and encourage them to have their say.

Information on the Bowls Scotland website:

Complete the consultation survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/27V2LDM

The consultation closes on Sunday 13 September 2026.
