Let's talk about mum (postnatal) guilt and fitness. Many of you feel pressure to get back to normal quickly after having a baby. But here's the truth:
🧡You don't have to rush back to fitness (or anything else) if you're not ready! Your body just did the most amazing thing - it's time to prioritize you, your baby, your body, and its recovery.
💛Society often puts pressure on new mums to "get their body back" quickly. But the reality is every mum is different, you all had different birthing experiences, and each recovery path is very different. Take your time and enjoy your new bundle of joy with your family.
💚When you're ready to return to exercise, start with gentle easy exercises, i.e., pelvic floor strengthening, short walks, and body weight exercises. Prioritize the importance of moving again rather than what you use to be able to do and try not to compare the journeys. Your body has changed.
💙Mums can often feel guilty for leaving their babies/children to attend the gym, thinking they are being selfish for taking the time and leaving their families but the reality is that if you attending the gym or classes helps make you feel better about yourself, helps your mental state and helps make you stronger, it's the best thing you could do for your family.
❤️Remember, you're not alone. Many mums struggle with postnatal guilt and fitness pressures. Finding a fitness class that allows you to take your little one can often be a way of starting to overcome the guilt and starting off your new fitness journey in a safe way.

Bring-your-baby Postnatal Fitness Taster Class
Exercising for the first time after pregnancy can be daunting. You've been signed off by the midwife, with limited guidance on what to do, and no one to ask questions to if you do want to return to exercise. You need to organise child care to get to the gym, and it can be very overwhelming when you get there.
I'm here to help with all of it 🫶
I'll help ease you back into exercise gently, give you safe exercises for recovery and the next steps of your journey, bring your baby along with you so you don't need to worry about child care and small class numbers to help keep it personal.
This class would be perfect for new mums wanting to return to exercise or new mums who have never exercised but want to start their journey to become a fit mumma.
