Spectacular performances from both McCulloch brothers on the prestigious Oran Mor fight event yesterday!

Firstly we had UK ranked Muay Thai fighter .mcculloch1 showcasing his superior footwork, strong clinch game, Boxing, knees, elbows & sweeps! The short highlight video doesn’t do his performance much justice as the whole fight was a display of high level Muay Thai technique. Scott secured a unanimous decision victory against a very tough opponent who never stopped coming forward and applying the pressure!

Then we had coming out of an 8 year retirement to take on a strong & technical powerhouse. Even though Paul took this fight on a few weeks notice his experience & composure came through. Paul executed his game plan perfectly & fought as if he had never retired!

Overall it was both exciting & nerve wracking to have both brothers on the same card after so long. Having seen their journey from day one, the trials & tribulations they have both faced, this day couldn’t have turned out better for them.

We are proud to have them as our coaches and fighters!

The Glasgow Fitness team crushed it at the show yesterday at Ayr Racecourse, going 4-0 with outstanding performances.

First up, picked up his second win in two weeks showing improved confidence which has developed from the consistent & hard training

Next, .gfc won after a close five-round battle displaying great footwork, kicks & knees

Then dominated with his clinch game, fitness, footwork & kicks

Lastly, claimed the WMO Championship Belt with a dominant performance. Innes took on a more experienced opponent but showed maturity beyond his 16 years, strategically taking apart his opponent

Congrats to the coaches, fighters, and the entire team who supported them.

Well done to all of the Glasgow Fitness Juniors who took part in the Gym Wars event. Overall we had 13 junior fighters take part in bouts producing an impressive array of wins & great performances! Thank you to all the travelling teams, coaches, fighters & officials who made it all possible.
