As we come to the end of the year, Fraser Anderson and Bob Menzies would like to wish all our Kadets, Students, Coaches and Instructors a very Merry Christmas. Thank you all for the commitment, support and honest feedback you’ve given throughout the year. It’s that input, along with the effort you put in on and off the mat, that helps us keep improving and moving forward.

We hope you all get a chance to rest, spend time with family and friends. Thanks again for being part of the team.....it’s genuinely appreciated.

We are pleased to announce the promotion of two students to coaches. Connor Cloughley (left) and Steven Frater were presented with their coach T-shirts at last nights Falkirk by their Instructor, Brett.

Connor joined KMS in 2021 and Steven in 2022

Connor was interested in combat sports from a young age, starting fencing at the age of 5 and going on to represent Scotland and the UK. He first started Krav Maga when he was 16 before joining KMS in 2021.

Steven has a diverse martial arts background. He trained for many years in Tukido and has experience in Taekwondo and boxing. Steven decided to train in Krav Maga as an alternative to sports based martial arts, and gain knowledge and experience in self defence techniques that have been developed for real life scenarios.

KMS Senior Instructor, Brett, stated that the two of them have progressed significantly since joining and have displayed a keen interest in imparting their knowledge of the Krav Maga system to fellow students well before being considered for coaches and therefore were natural candidates for promotion.

Connor and Steven will continue to assist Brett at the Falkirk and Grangemouth classes.
