I learned a big lesson at the start of this yearâŚ
Regardless of the changes in life we MUST commit to one thing; ourselves.
Thereâs always going to be periods in our life where we are knocked out of routine due to a big change.
A new job
A city move
A new relationship
An addition to the family
For me, that change was in my living arrangements.
I moved into my mums at the end of 2023.
I was out of my normal routine, and I found that the time and energy I would normally put into myself was slipping.
Due to change I wasnât giving myself the attention I needed to function at my best.
I wasnât factoring in enough of the things that make ME feel good.
Journaling
Training
Reading
Eating enough nutrients
Sleeping well
Having time to myself
All had been neglected.
And as a result I was feeling overwhelmed and not showing up with the same energy as I usually do.
Throughout January I took the time to factor these things back into my routine.
I now know that regardless of the changes that come around I MUST put myself first.
These things need to be a constant in my life in order for me to show up as my best.
I thrive when I am in a good routine.
I am trying my hardest to learn to embrace chance, and that overwhelm isnât a feeling to be scared of because it means that growth is happening.
Let this be a lesson for you tooâŚ
Commit to you before anything else âĄď¸

I know how scary it can be to ask for help and commit to something.
One of the most common things that my clients say when they start working with me is that they feel an instant weight off their shoulders.
The relief of no longer worrying about what to do, whether itâll work or whatâs going to be the next âbestâ thing they need to try.
Another bonus?
Those people that take action always tell me that they wish they started sooner.
Investing in yourself can be scary, but whatâs scarier is staying in the exact same place, with the exact same mindset forever.
We are far too used to letting ourselves off the hook easily and making excuses when it comes to doing things that scare us.
But it is my job, as your coach, to help you take control of your current situation, and do the uncomfortable things that you have been avoiding for so long:
Together we focus on increasing your confidence by building better habits.
Improving your mindset.
Help you get strong AF in the gym.
Empower you to create structure and routine to your day so you can thrive whilst working towards becoming the most confident version of yourself.
Choosing to invest in yourself now is absolutely essential for your future self.
I guarantee that you will thank yourself for starting when you did.

âIf someone isnât making you stronger, theyâre making you weaker.â
I read this quote the other day, and it got me thinking...
A big part of being successful in your health & fitness journey depends on your environment.
The spaces that you work and live in.
The people you follow on social media.
The things you read, listen to and watch.
And, maybe one of the most important things; the people you spend most of your time with.
Who you spend most of your time with is going to have some sort of impact on your decisions when it comes to your food choices and movement.
As much as it comes down to your daily actions and behaviours, it can be made a hell of a lot easier when you have people around you who understand why it is important to you.
I feel super grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing humans, ones who understand my goals and bring so much positivity into my life.
One of my big goals as a coach is to create this kind of environment for my clients too.
One where they feel, supported and heard.
One where they can open up and be honest about their wins and their struggles.
One where they are NEVER judged.
Just a solid team of sound humans all trying their best.
Who do you spend most of your time with?
Do they understand why your goals are important to you?
Do they want to help you to achieve your goals as much as you do?
If you have health & fitness goals that you want to achieve right now but you donât feel very supported, then send me a message today - I want to help you âĄď¸

Seeing as itâs Valentineâs Day, I want to chat about self love
To love yourself means to actively show yourself love, care and nurturing.
For me, on the days when I eat well, move my body, take care of my skin and surround myself with amazing people I always feel much more at peace.
On the days when I eat rubbish out of stress and boredom, hardly leave the house, donât look after my skin, I feel rushed off my feet and unorganised for the day, I donât feel that good about myself when I get into bed at night.
Working on the relationship you have with yourself is vital, and it will lead to much healthier relationships with others in the future.
You can do this by showing up for yourself in whichever way makes you feel good.
This could be by trying a new gym class, journaling, joining a run club, learning to bake... any new hobbies really.
Dating yourself is also a really nice thing to do.
Buy yourself flowers, get dressed up, go for a coffee and a walk, take yourself out for dinner or to the cinema, go on a solo trip.
Sometimes we need extra help unpicking the stuff that has made us feel sad and unworthy, this is when counseling or therapy can help.
This is coming from someone who experienced counselling last year, which was genuinely the hardest but most fulfilling thing I have ever done for myself.
Once you develop a better relationship with yourself, it will help you show up better in every other aspect of your life.
I deserve to feel loved, appreciated and supported for all that you are.
Remember that âĄď¸

Hereâs just some of the messages that iâve received from my clients recently đđź
Now, I am no life coach, but i am pretty good at helping my clients become the happiest version of themselves.
Helping them achieve new levels of confidence.
Watching them smash their own expectations.
Reassuring them at every emotion they go through when they are trying to change their lifestyle is normal and valid.
What an honour it is to be able to work with such incredible people every single day.
Honestly, messages like this never fail to put a smile on my face.

âI just want to lose weight then iâll be happyâ
I have worked with plenty of women over the last 7 years who have told me the same goal.
They think that weight loss correlates with happiness, when actually itâs the reason behind that goal that matters the most to help you achieve it.
WHY does weight loss matter to you?
What would it give you?
The trust in yourself that you can achieve anything you put your mind to?
Healthier relationships with others?
The opportunity to create amazing memories and not worrying about how you feel?
Whatever the reason is, it is hardly ever about the number on the scales.
Itâs about the actions you take every single day that will help you live a happier, healthier and more fufilling life.
Itâs about creating good habits that serve you and avoid you from spiralling and ending up back at square one time and time again.
Itâs time to stop focusing solely on weight loss, and time to start gaining control of your life âĄď¸

Wednesday Hyrox sesh with oor
Iâll be honest, last week i was really not enjoying hyrox training.
Some thoughts that were running through my head were âf**k thisâ, âthis is too hardâ and âi canât be arsedâ.
But todayâs session was the complete opposite.
We went in with a plan and smashed our own expectations.
It is normal to have weeks when training feels harder than normal, or that you feel frustrated, or that you simply just canât be bothered.
Also, our hormones play huge part in how we are thinking and feeling some
weeks.
Donât let the s**t sessions get the better of you, itâs normal and you WILL bounce back âĄď¸

A sense of community can help build your confidence.
My guess is you are probably following a lot of fitness influencers and athletes on here.
People that train multiple times per day, follow a strict calorie and macro split, who live and breathe fitness.
Itâs probably their job, but itâs not yours.
If you are someone who simply wants to feel confident in their skin, be fitter, stronger and overall more fulfilled.
Extremes are not necessary and are unrealistic.
What you need is a group of people you CAN relate to and connect with.
A community of women that have similar responsibilities and everyday struggles, but have nothing but drive to level up.
A community that will leave you feeling empowered.
One that will give you the belief that you CAN get to where you want to be.
One that will support you every step of the way.
And most importantly⌠a community where you feel like you belong.
From monthly meet ups, to a WhatsApp group thatâs always popping off.
My
Surrounding yourself with good people is contagious.
My CBC community is just that, and weâd love for you to join us âĄď¸

Are you a âall talk no actionâ kinda gal?
I hear you, saying that you want to feel and look good.
You keep telling yourself that next month will be different.
But then a new month appears and you donât take any action.
Maybe you think itâs too late for you to start.
Maybe you think you donât have enough time right now.
Or maybe you want to try it all on your own again for another month.
Whatever the reason, you need to ask yourself this:
âWhat is the cost of not investing in myself right now?â
We are already one month into the year.
If you are happy to talk the talk but not walk the walk, then that is your choice.
But if you are ready to take action and make some positive moves for your future self, then letâs chat.

Do you have the Sunday dread?
The weekend is nearly over, and itâs Monday again tomorrow.
You barely have any excitement about getting back to work tomorrow.
You are counting down the hours, scrolling endlessly on your phone with the spare time you have today.
I get it, Iâve been there before.
But you have a choice.
You are in control of your attitude, your habits and your routines.
Every day you have an opportunity to get your s**t together, to take responsibility and make the change youâre waiting for.
In my opinion a Sunday is the best day to get a head start on your week.
Itâs a chance to do the things that you know will help push you closer to your goals.
Everything from doing a food shop and prepping some meals,
To scheduling your diary for the week so you have a clear vision and plan for the week ahead.
That quiet time you have today can be spent setting yourself up for the next 7 days.
It doesnât matter how busy or chill your week is looking.
Itâs always better if youâve mentally prepared yourself for it so you know exactly what you are doing.
Thereâs nothing better than getting up and at it on a Monday morning, knowing that youâve nailed your week before youâve even started.
If you donât use some of your Sunday to plan for the week ahead, then you are missing a trick.
I know itâs more tempting to sit scrolling on your phone, but do the things today that you know your future self will thank you for âĄď¸

What will my future self thank me for?
I love this message so much đđź
Everytime I question my choices and decisions I always ask myself this.
Iâll be honest, some days I canât be arsed training, or cooking, or organising myself for the next day.
Maybe you feel the same.
Maybe you are feeling a bit too comfortable right now, always taking the easy route because you canât be arsed.
Realise that your daily actions matter.
The decisions you make every day determine how your future looks.
Understand that every choice you make matters.
Maybe not in that exact moment but over time they all contribute to how you look, think and feel.
Know that you have the ability to have the confidence youâve always wanted.
In your mind and body.
By doing the hard things now you are making it easier for your future self.
So, take action, and go and make your future self proud girl âĄď¸
