Last period ashore seen Scott's clio come over for inspection and refresh of another k24 block due to the previous one doing the all to common k series rod bearing failure.

Fresh block was fully stripped down and refreshed to everything except rings.
He should see many happy trouble free miles now and its well deserved after such a nice swap he has done πŸ‘ŒπŸ™‚

k24 frank strip down and refresh for a certain orange eg πŸ˜„. No signs of any big issues except being stored incorrectly for a reasonable amount of time.
Plenty of work to do so more updates coming πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ.

A poorly k20 brought in by McNab Motorsport from his Ep3 race car.
First was to get a look at what really happened…
Alloy weld in sump baffle had come a drift and no doubt would of been sucked up against the oil pick up limiting the supply.
So best bang for his buck was to put a fresh k24 bottom end in the equation.
The k20 head needed some work after finding some let say not true valves and a knackered guide.
So while the guides were out we thought why not port it a tad…
After a clean up in the sump we went for a clockwise motion baffle new 4 piston oil pump and new service items on assembly and big end shells.
Looking forward to seeing how it performs on track next year!

After a needed break from cars and just life in general we recently purchased a DC5 to have that trackday fix.
During a recent trackday with Yumen from TTD / Tracktiontrackdays he had some 4th gear issuesπŸ˜….
Being abit bored on leave at home we decided it would be a nice job to do.
Damaged / rough bearings, 4th gear replaced and some fresh speed factory detent springs shes back in action.

As far as other jobs go... we are game for selective lets say hobby based jobs i can carry out in the garage in home πŸ™‚.

Not entirely sure where to begin...

Will try not to get to deep...

Recently iv had some personal struggles and balancing work to a healthy load proved to be diffcult and near impossible with the input required to make it all work the way i wanted as well as continuing with my demanding career at sea and having that all important time with loved ones.
As time progressed over the last year it began to grind me down and the love for the hobby slowly disappeared.
Yes a slight regret letting it go that way but at the same time i believe whats for you wont go by you.
Im sorry to those iv let down and had to pull the pin on but family time and health is to important.

We have moved out of our unit and took a change in direction to 2 wheels with my father and hope to make many memmories touring about and tinkering in our gargae at home, there's always a silver lining...
I want to say thanks to those who helped me along with the short journey it was, i like to think we made some smile and saved a few cars along the way.
Moving forward small regrets are better than much bigger ones later down the road.

An update for everyone... some will be wondering, what happened to the raffle...
We gave some extra time to see if enough intrest in tickets would come through and it just didnt seem too.
In that period a chap called Andy cooper came foward waning to purchase after Gary prebble recommended the car.
We are delighted to see it live on and be used properly and cared for by nice guys.

as above the decision has been made to raffle off our civic eg we've owned for 5 years.

How it will work...
-So on Friday 6th we post again announcing 550 tickets are available
-You purchase as many tickets as you wish per person

-Then send payment to paypal address [email protected] , please send as friend's and family ( if not youl be refunded and tickets not accounted for)

Well thats a year today i had a rare chance of correcting a mistake. Its not often that happens really is it?...
No engine and looking sad after a successful year but sometimes.a time out is needed. Soon she'll be back together.
