BLANTYRE BLACKS 2011
🏆 CENTRAL REGIONAL WINNERS🏆

Blantyre Blacks 2 V 1Camby

It wouldn’t be a game if our boys didn’t do it their way. As always we made hard work and stress that all parents and coach’s could do without. We as coach’s couldn’t be more proud of the hard work and fight till the end attitude. Today our boys took away the Regional Cup and should be proud as the highs lows have all came to a Fantastic end to the Season.

Hi Everyone

As many of you know, this season the 2014 Yellows partnered with Scottish Action for Mental Health SAMH to help support positive mental health and wellbeing.

SAMH have recently launched their new “Wee Pink Dot” campaign as part of their “Show Up” movement, which aims to tackle mental health stigma and discrimination across Scotland. The campaign is all about showing up for one another, staying connected and reminding people that nobody should feel alone.

The idea is simple. Draw a wee pink dot on your hand using anything pink — a pen, highlighter, face paint, etc. The pink dot is a visible reminder to support others and start conversations around mental health.

They have invited us to participate and as a team, we would kindly as that everyone participating this weekend at BSA’s Raemon Gormley Memorial Festival join us in taking part with this initiative. Grass roots football is a great place to start in capturing awareness.

Please encourage the boys to come along with their on their hand. Don’t worry on the day if you forget coaches will be around with the pink pens and would love to be able to get a photo of your team supporting such a great cause.

With over 3200 kids plus all the spectators - it’s the best venue to spread a positive message this weekend

Thanks everyone for supporting such an important campaign 💛🖤

Please take photos of your teams and add to this post

Next transition game in the bag for 2014 Yellows with an away match to East Kilbride FC

After a disappointing and lethargic start first half we found ourselves behind at the break.
We needed to find our spark second half - and that we did 🔥

Boys were tremendous second half - dominating large spells of play and getting themselves ahead.

Match result 3-4win

Thanks to our opponents and sponsors
