Somehow these were taken early march?
Set up in 2023, Next Step Outside exists to connect poeple to their passions for outdoor sport.
Our team was formed by three climbers, at a crag, doing what we love. We share a deep love for the great outdoors, and want to make it accesable for all.

A few photos from some hill/climbing days this winter! Making what we can of a medium winter between working days...

Jack and James are out with for a couple of days this week learning some all important self rescue skills and alpine techniques. We're all trying to push our personal climbing this season so it's really important to know what to do when things don't quite go to plan.
Climbing is just a never ending learning process, that's why I love it so much!
Photos are from my self rescue session with last year.

Chasing the sun took us to Northumberland last week. If your willing to drive for hours it seems there has been some nice weather around!
Bowden doors providing the goods as always. Pity nursing a hangover doesn't lead to big sends for me. James on the other hand sent some cool lines...

It's taken a while but Max is nearly calm enough for full days at the crag.
Next season he'll be a regular on our outdoor sessions 🐶

It's been a busy summer for us all at NextStep, unfortunately we've all been busy doing adult stuff like getting new jobs and buying houses.
Great to get back out on the rock, especially sussing out routes for winter... This one is definitely on the list

Instagram has been quiet (sorry!! We are still here I promise). But we've still been getting out and about. Few photos from our recent Scottish summer (wet 🙃) visit to Glencoe.
Lovely day with a big group wandering up north.face route into hiccup (buchallie etive more, VS). A great day out, but sadly quite loose.
Swipe to the end for James' mountain dance...

Am Bodach and Srón Gharbh. Hot, humid, cloudy. Beautiful scenes poking through the gaps in the clouds.
Glen coe is hard to beat

Jack has been to Northumberland chasing the sun (or rather running from the rain)! Has been awesome to climb at some new venues, and see some really interesting rock features (pic 2)
