Happy Pride Month 2026 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ This month we commemorate the 1969 Stonewall uprising and celebrate a culture of acceptance and equality through pride parades and marches. GUVC proudly celebrates our LGBTQIA+ community. We continue to embrace diversity, inclusivity and acceptance in our club to support all of our members.

It’s that time of year again! 🏄‍♀️🏖️

Join us at Beach Hive on May 22, 2026 in the GUU Debates Chamber for some epic Beach Volleyball and fun with 🏐

Anyone is welcome to sign up and join, whether you have a club membership or not 🧡

Sign-ups will be open at 11AM. Matches will run from 11:30AM-1PM.

Teams of 6 players can have a maximum of 3 competitive players per team.
Matches will be a running-clock match style of 6 minute 6V6 games, the team with the most points in each match will move up to the next round! 🎊

👑 Winners of the tournament will be rewarded with prizes courtesy of 🎉

This week, GUVC takes ACTION to raise awareness for Mental Health Awareness Week 🧡💜 sharing how our sport has supported positive mental health across the club. Take ACTION, engaging in a positive action for yourself and for someone else to support building mentally healthy communities. Check out for more resources and information on this year’s theme, ACTION.

On May 14th, invite you all to wear green 💚 in support of mental health awareness.

Taxis cup is in 2 days !! Our competitive teams are playing and would love some support. After the cup, we are heading for a final social of the term at strath union at 7pm. Please wear our club colours and / or merch !!

This wednesday, our competitive teams are playing in the Taxis Cup !! Please come and support them at the Arc Health and Fitness Sport building at GCU. Following the cup, we will have a final social at 7pm. We are meeting at the strath union and going to pubs in the city centre.
