We're looking for enthusiastic, committed coaches to lead our 2nd & 3rd XI squads for the upcoming season.

Both roles are paid and offer a fantastic opportunity to work with ambitious players, make a real impact, and be part of a welcoming, competitive club. Whether you're an experienced coach or looking to take the next step in your coaching journey, you'll be joining a supportive environment with opportunities for personal development, including formal coaching qualifications.

EDINBURGH CITY 7'S SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

A few familiar faces return for what feels like their annual pilgrimage to Edinburgh City 7s, while we're delighted to hand Georgie, on loan from Heriot's, her first call-up. Also back in the GHK stripes are Estelle and Ella, who're back after their stint away at uni.

GHK Juniors now starts from P1! 🏑

We're excited to welcome our youngest players to the club as our Juniors section is now open to children from Primary 1 through to Primary 7. Whether they're picking up a hockey stick for the very first time or already love the game, our fun, inclusive sessions are the perfect place to learn new skills and build confidence.

💙 Juniors (P1–P7): Tuesdays, 5:30–6:30pm
💚 Inters (S1–S2): Thursdays, 5:30–6:30pm

Looking to get back into hockey, try something new, or just fancy a fun Friday night run around? Come join GHK Ladies for our Back to Hockey sessions!

📍 Old Anniesland (High School of Glasgow pitches)
📅 Every Friday from 19th June – 24th July
⏰ 6:30pm – 8:00pm

These sessions are aimed at anyone aged 21+ and are all about having fun, getting moving, and enjoying hockey in a relaxed environment - whether you’re completely new to the sport or dusting off the stick after years away!

There is no commitment to attend every week. All sessions will be game-based, with sticks provided. We would recommend bringing: shinguards, a gum shield and trainers with good grip!

💷 £5 per session - cash & card payments accepted

With experience as Director of Sport at Fernhill School, former player/coach at Uddingston Men’s 2nd XI, and involvement in the Scotland Masters programme, Steven brings outstanding knowledge and leadership to the role.
