🚧 Studio Update - Well… That Escalated Quickly 😂
Our little studio TLC weekend turned into a slightly bigger adventure than expected 😅🔨💀
The original plan was innocent enough:
✨ Remove the old Perspex
✨ Freshen up the windows
✨ Install lovely new clear panels
✨ Feel organised and accomplished
Turns out once we started pulling things apart, we uncovered what can only be described as a full-blown DIY horror movie behind the scenes 🙈😂
Unfortunately, the windows were completely beyond repair, so rather than putting the old Perspex back up, we’ve temporarily completely covered over the windows above the front row and added a DIY "fix" to the bathroom windows while we sort the next steps.
The GOOD news is that the landlord has agreed it’s a structural issue and will now be replacing both the studio and bathroom windows completely 🙌🔥
So although this wasn’t exactly part of the original “cute little makeover weekend” plan… it will mean a much better long-term result for the studio.
