People will always pass judgement and opinions on certain things or what your doing. Donβt listen to them!
One thing that might be hard for them, might be easy for you. And you wont know until you try it!
If youβre starting something new, donβt go in with the mindset of βI cant do thisβ just because someone said it was hard or challenging for them.
If you go in with the mindset of βI canβtβ then your right, you probably wont. The more you tell yourself you can, then you will. But you wont know how you feel until you do it.
Iβve heard it many times during my fitness journey. And definitely during my prep with certain things, prime example βyouβll probably feel like crap from about 10 weeks outβ - so far I have surpassed that and we feel good so donβt listen to anyone else. Try things and determine for yourself ππ½
I did once say to myself I couldnβt do a prep or that as I βcouldnβt not have cake or sweets for that longβ. But I switched that round, if I did want to - I could. Now look at where we are at today and for my past 2 photoshoots I treated them like a prep - managing 25+ weeks without.
Itβs all about your mindset, and if you take on other peopleβs abilities and comments - youβll never know for yourself π«

3 stone 2lbs - GONE FOREVER ππ½
If I was to say to you that Ash lost the above weight. I know at some point of your response youβll wonder how long that has taken. And if I was to say βshe started in May 2024β, youβll probably then think βthat seems like a good amount of timeβ, when actually it was only 35 WEEKS. Now you know how fast 1 week goes by - so think of it on the grand scheme.
Also to confirm, Ash had a 2 week holiday within this time, had a couple of weekends away, had some nights out/activities on and was not restricted in any way over the festive period. So really it has been shorter than the time frame above ππ½
It isnt always about a βquick fixβ on how to get somewhere but if you are anything like Ash - week to week if you are consistent with the programming that is in place and willing to really dedicate yourself to achieving your goal - then you will πͺπ½
This girl has welly and truly worked to get to where she is today, achieving INCREDIBLE results and Iβm so proud of her π₯²π
Very much pushed herself out of her comfort zone in way mays - and through that she has truly fell in love with the process of working on herself and taking care of her health and fitness.

Guess what?
I WENT UP 1KG (2.2lbs) OVERNIGHT, IT HELD THERE FOR DAYS AND DIDNT DROP BACK DOWN.
Now I ate the same meals as I normally would, I done my cardio that day as I should and I also hit my steps as I normally do too.
Buttttt .. my sleep was a little off the night before plus my cycle arrived too π©Έ
With this being said, with the sleep, this can cause my body to be a little stressed which means I could be holding water weight.
And .. with the change in hormones within my body due to my cycle starting, you can also hold on to a little water weight with the change within hormones π
So yes I get it can be frustrating, knowing that you have absolutely nailed everything, not had any different food or any extra and achieved your targets activity wise with training etc.
But your scale weight can still fluctuate π
Take your scale weight and then put it to the back of your mind. Youβre not going to gain body fat if you are doing the same thing that helped lose body fat before.
Around your cycle, if youβre completely adherent to what you were doing previously then the scales will drop back off βοΈ
On the other hand - if you have ate extra or different foods then it may have went up for other reasons.
But donβt see the increase and turn to self-destruct mode - thats the worst thing that you can do β
Just continue doing the do as you have been and you will be back to where you were in no time π°οΈ

WEEK 12 ππ
Feeling refreshed and funky π§ββοΈ
Had cycle heading into the start of this week and it definitely knocked me a little π©Έ Felt a little fatigued, sessions werenβt that great although we tried our hardest, sleep wasnβt the best, scale weight increased and held. And this all signalled towards me taking a bit of a deload/devolume - the coach called it.
Because I was in the mindset of just powering through every day, I didnβt even think I would have needed it (just felt it was part of the process and embraced and hopeful it passed) but it was welcomed when T said, but coming out the other side, I 100% needed it for sure.
I wasnβt too sure what had brought the βslightly feeling offβ feeling. Was it the disturbed sleep? Was it my cycle? Was it overall prep hitting? Was it a bit of travel? But whatever it was, it has been brushed off and weβre back to digging. Session today was incredible π
Many people ask how prep is going and they probably expect me to say βaw itβs awfulβ but in all honesty, up until now, I feel great. All is in a good spot and very happy with where we are given the time we have left aswell π
For 3 days we pulled back training volume and decreased cardio, but from today weβre back to full steam ahead.
This weeks updates ;
Cardio - 6 x 40mins
Food - TD - 1690, NTD - 1615
(Cardio back to where it was. Food drop for this week)
I am well aware that I am very close to a translucent colour π»
We are on the case - the tan will be on from now and a little sunny each week too. Be gone paleness π€£π€£

This girl is not shy of putting in the work. And thatβs the exact drive you need if you have a goal in mind. You are the driving force. Yes, your coach can put plans in place and give guidance, but itβs down to you to execute the plans if you want to make progress.
You need to be willing to push yourself. Yes, life can get busy and things can crop up such as weekends away, nights out or being unwell. Alana also even moved house within this time and was living with bare minimum cooking facilities at times - but we made it work and worked on ways around this.
Full steam ahead whenever we can. Consistency over a period of time is what EXCELS π
From start until now - and weβre not stopping yet ππ½
Incredible achievements throughout 2024 - started with the aim of a 10k, now with multiple under her belt and even half marathons (also pleural)ππ½
MASSIVE goals ahead for 2025 π

Weβre not born feeling guilty about foods, it is learned. So letβs unlearn it... and start to enjoy food guilt-free.
We LEARN these things from social media, friends family members⦠Then they become BELIEFS.
The key to overcoming food guilt is to change these beliefs.
A well balanced diet and eating pattern, includes all foods! The guilt can also come from over indulging with certain foods.
Everything can be enjoyed within moderation.
Start building healthy habits β¨

A wee venture out to try something new with some of the girls from the team and we all loved it β€οΈ
Defos was a challenge at certain parts but we all made it through.
Itβs amazing to see some of the girls meeting each other in the team. Itβs good to be around people with similar goals to talk over where your at and where your going. And also to know your not alone if there are struggles that your facing π

So proud of this girl β€οΈ
Amanda came to me in the run up to her wedding, not feeling that great about herself at all and knowing that she had her big day coming up to get into a dress of her dreams. She knew she had to make a change.
Not feeling your best on you big day? You best believe we absolutely made sure we flipped that on its head completely.
She dropped a whopping 25LBS in 22 weeks βΌοΈβΌοΈ
Did we have to be mega restrictive? No we didnβt.
Amanda had a short break holiday, her hen weekend and various other nights out here and there throughout the time of us working together.
Massive, massive changes for Amanda!
She has now walked down the aisle on her big day, in her dream dress, and she looked and felt a million dollars ππΈ
Amanda has dropped a few dress sizes, fitting into clothes that she hasnβt for agessss with so much more confidence to where she started. Going from not having much interest in the gym to now enjoying having it as part of her weekly routine.

Whether you are starting with a coach or starting any sort of physical transformation through dieting or simply eating better, starting the gym, either to get in better shape in general, or grow muscle. Whatever it may be that your doing, absolutely take progress pictures!
I know you may not feel your most confident or be happy with the way you look at the beginning but please take pictures. I promise you will be thankful that you did because it allows you to look back to see how far you have come.
You see your body every day - it can be hard to see it changing! And this is when pictures come in handy.

There will be a time where you say one day, but today is the day that I change that one day to day 1.
I remember saying to a family member a while ago that I didnβt think I could do a bodybuilding prep for a show as I couldnβt be that consistent. After doing preps for a photoshoot and treating them very similar to a bodybuilding show, I surprised myself.
But I wanted it and wanted to challenge myself to that little added push to see what I really could achieve. If you really want something you will put your all into it. If it doesnβt mean that much to you then it will hard assed.
I questioned my abilities and never believed in myself but that narrative has switched. So before I have been saying βyeah mabey one day Iβll do a prep for showβ.
Well that one day is now day 1 for me.
