Everyone at the Maryhill Bertie Auld CSC were saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend and member Ben Kernan.

Ben was a character who everyone knew and loved at the Star & Garter.

He was a dearly loved member of our CSC having been a great friend to many on the bus.

He will be very sadly missed by us all and we send all our love and prayers to the family at this sad time.

May the road rise up to meet you, and the wind be on your back 💚

We will be running a bus to Ibrox on Sunday for the Scottish Cup game.

As you'll all know, Wee Joe scored the only goal in the 1989 Scottish Cup Final, over old Rangers ...⚽️

Joe's goal stopped the serial cheats from winning a Treble at a sun baked Hampden..🏆

Miller will be joined by Chic Charnley at the Star & Garter on Saturday's Charity night for the 12th Lion...🦁

Providing the music will be the fantastic Stephen Dodds...🎸

And watch out for our very own Phil Agnew, who'll give everyone an update on the progress of the School...🎤

John Fallon was a great friend and a fantastic supporter of our CSC. We had great nights with the Original Holy Goalie at our dinner dances over the years with him always being there whenever you needed him.

All monies raised on the night will be donated to the project to build a school in South Sudan and continue John’s legacy

Since the day our CSC began, John has been a tireless supporter of it and we have many happy memories of the time spent in his company.

The thoughts and prayers of everyone at our club are with John’s family at this sad time 🙏🏻💚
