We have an unbelievable opportunity for your business to advertise their products or service pitch side at the Cowan Park Astro.

The Cowan Park Astro pitch is in full view of the Cowan park patrons 24/7 but our facility is in use every night. Monday to Friday 6pm to 10pm we have all of our age groups training on the pitch at various times, with players, parents and spectators in attendance this is a fantastic opportunity for your advertising board to be seen by hundreds of people every week. Not to mention a full card of fixtures at the weekend, this is a truly unique opportunity to maximise your advertising catchment at a minimum cost.

Not only does this offer include a full size, pitch side advertising board but also advertising on our social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and X. Again increasing the audience of your advertisement.

All of this for Β£400. Yes just Β£400 for the first full season then Β£100 every season after that for the duration of the board being pitch side. For that minimal cost we will make an advertisement board to the highest standard, designed together and placed pitch side at the Cowan Park Astro. Then we will do a feature post on social media about your business and repeat this at various points over the season.

What a wonderful way for your company to generate more business and support a hard working community grassroots football club.
If this is of interest to you please personal message me through this platform.

Don’t miss out in this opportunity, once the available space is gone it’s gone.

Robbie Ure is an ex Barrhead YFC 2003 player, a Scottish centre-forward from Glasgow who has steadily built a reputation as a promising young striker after coming through Rangers’ academy and then moving abroad to develop his career.

Early career at Rangers (2020–2023)

Ure joined the Rangers youth system and was regarded as one of the club’s more highly rated attacking prospects. He signed a contract extension in 2021 and progressed through the academy ranks.

His senior breakthrough came in August 2022 when he made his Rangers first-team debut in the Scottish League Cup against Queen of the South. He scored within minutes of his debut in a 3–1 win at Ibrox.

Despite that promising start, opportunities in the first team were limited. He made only two Scottish Premiership appearances before deciding not to extend his contract in 2023.

Move to Anderlecht (2023–2025)

In September 2023, Ure signed for Belgian giants Anderlecht, joining their reserve side, RSCA Futures, which competes in Belgium’s second tier.

During his time in Belgium:

* He made 38 appearances for RSCA Futures.
* Scored 11 goals.
* Earned a brief first-team appearance for Anderlecht.
* Signed a new three-year deal after impressing club staff.

The move gave him regular senior football and helped him develop physically and tactically away from the spotlight of Scottish football.

Breakthrough in Sweden with IK Sirius (2025–present)

In March 2025, Ure moved to Swedish Allsvenskan side IK Sirius on a long-term contract.

This has been the most productive spell of his career so far:

* Scored 11 goals in his first season with Sirius.
* Added several assists and became one of the club’s key attacking players.
* Started the 2026 season in outstanding form, becoming one of the most prolific Scottish strikers playing in Europe.

Recent reports suggest his performances have attracted interest from clubs in England, France and Portugal, and he is now viewed as one of the standout forwards in the Swedish league.

International situation

Ure has represented Scotland at Under-19 level, scoring twice in five appearances.

Playing style

At around 1.89m (6ft 2in), Robbie is a traditional centre-forward with good physical presence but is also mobile and technically capable. He has often been compared stylistically to Harry Kane because of his combination of finishing, link-up play and movement.

At 22, Ure is widely viewed as being at the point where his career is accelerating. His success in Sweden has put him on the radar of bigger European clubs and potentially the Scotland senior national team.

Once a Barrhead YFC player always a Barrhead YFC player!
