5 simple tricks to getting your sh*t done!
It’s that time of year again!
You’ve got the New Year super power of I can achieve anything…
We set powerful New Year’s Resolutions but January ends and you think you’ve failed again…
These 5 tips will help you set realistic goals you can stay consistent with and finish 2024 like a BOSS!
If you’re struggling with motivation, find yourself procrastinating, or your to-do list is getting bigger by the day, this is for you…
1 - Set SMART Goals
Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely.
It’s easy to set goals
“I want to lose weight”…
But it’s even better to set SMART Goals…
“I will lose 1.5lbs / week for 12 weeks, by walking for 20 minutes daily, and improving my nutrition. I will use my Fitness Tracker and My Fitness Pal to track my progress and review this every four weeks and make adjustments to my activity levels and nutrition to stay on track”.
2 - Prioritise
Some goals are more important than others, so work on the ones that matter to you most first and build up from there…
3 - Deadlines
Set and share your deadlines with a reliable friend who will hold you accountable to stick to the deadlines you set.
4 - Enjoy it!
Setting goals should not mean giving up things you love.
You’re more likely to succeed if goals are sustainable - ask yourself this question…
Is this something I can do after I have achieved my goal?
If the answer is NO… forget it!
You still need to have fun and live your life in a way that achieving your goals is enjoyable.
5 - Find your “WHY”…
When we get clear on WHY we are setting a goal, the goal becomes real and you’re more likely to achieve it.
Your WHY might be…
👪 To be healthier so that I can see my kids / grandkids grow up
🧒🏼 To be able to run around with my grandkids and not feel tired
🤗 To live a longer, happier and healthier life
🩺 To alleviate any health worries for my family
And so much more
TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS - WHAT IS YOUR WHY?
