And like that, we are already at the end of another season! Our Closing Muster Race takes place on Saturday 26 September, sailing from Rothesay to Tarbert as Race 7 of the Inshore Championship.

To round off our end of year celebrations, we are gathering at Bardowie loch for the guest speaker, Cruising and Annual Prize Giving, along with cakes and refreshments. This will be a great get together and open to anyone who is interested.

As the 2026 sailing season draws to a close logs and articles would be welcomed from Clyde Cruising Club Clyde Cruising Club Dinghy Section members for the forthcoming Annual. Passages made, sailing places visited, cruises completed, races participated in, experiences had.

There are numerous trophies to be awarded under various categories. Guidance on length and style for entries can be found on the CCC

In addition there is the Coruisk Plate, which is awarded to the best sailing-related photographic image of the year.

As usual the deadline is 10 October so please send your entries to the Club email 🙏 ⛵️

This year we’re doing things a little differently, with our end-of-year gatherings bringing together members, families, friends and supporters of the Clyde Cruising Club as well as those interested in joining the club.

First off, we have our Annual Gathering on Saturday 3rd Oct from 7-11pm Balgray Sports Pavilion, Glasgow, G12 0BN where you can join us for a relaxed and fun evening with dinner, drinks, prize-giving for the keelboat races and dancing.
For anyone who wants to keep the party going, we plan to head on to Òran Mór from 11pm!

Everyone is very welcome, CCC members, partners, families and friends - whether you sail, race dinghies, keelboats, enjoy being part of the Club or want to learn more about the club please come and join us.

Largs Regatta Festival is calling! ⛵️🌊

It’s set to be a packed weekend on and off the water, with plenty happening at Largs Yacht Haven.

After the Saturn Sails loft party, head to the showroom for Chart Society 🎶

It’s time for Rollin Drones! 🎸
Entry is free for competitors with wristbands. There’ll also be a fantastic food truck on site, with an extended menu this year 🌭🍔

For those staying ashore, there is kids’ entertainment in the showroom from 2–5pm 🧒🎉

It was great to see everyone who joined us at the Loch Spelve Muster for another fantastic evening. The BBQ was a great success, with plenty of good food, great company, and a wonderful sunrise on the Sunday.

It was also a pleasure to welcome two guest boats at the event – a family who have recently moved to Helensburgh and a visiting yacht from Sweden 🇸🇪

This weekend is the Tarbert Race & Joint Muster with Fairlie Yacht Club, which brings racers and cruisers together for a crossing from the Firth of Clyde to Tarbert, Loch Fyne, followed by an evening of good company, music, and hospitality ashore.

📍 Saturday�🎻 Join us from 6.30 pm in the marquee for a gathering and ceilidh with Fairlie Yacht Club. Refreshments will be provided by the clubs – please bring along a contribution of nibbles to share.

📍 Sunday�🌊 There may be an informal raft-up on the journey home. Keep an ear on VHF Channel 77 and the WhatsApp group for updates.
