Death by su***de is an epidemic we simply can’t ignore. We need more conversations about it. More importantly, we need to encourage men everywhere to talk about their feelings more freely. To empower them to show vulnerability and to reach out when they are struggling.

Adding to my tool box last week by spending two day on the ASIST course with .m.i.l.e_counselling and a real diverse group of participants across many different professions and job roles.

In an ideal world we wouldn’t require to have su***de awareness courses such as this but we know that’s not the reality we live in so as a society we need to come to terms with these types of conversations and be willing to help those in need.

is a great place to start if you’re struggling mentally and don’t know how to open up about it. The website is full of resources including Blethr our online counselling service. Completely anonymous and instantly accessible.

Over the last weeks and months it’s been crazy busy and lots has been developing.

I’m so unbelievably fortunate to have a loving and supportive wife and two great children.

So often these things go unsaid or not publicly acknowledged. I’m very grateful to all the people who compliment the things I do but it all comes back to family and ultimately the main woman who has built me up in my life.

What a night we had last night at the launch night for hotel.

Today we were out at college delivering our “Reaching in” mental health training.

This is a proud moment for me and for from the first meeting about designing a training with .giles26 and and .uk to now delivering to sports coaching students of whom I was one 17 years ago!

Looking forward to delivering this to many groups, companies and organisations over the next 6-12 months. 💪🏻

Great day adding to and progressing our mental health and su***de awareness training today which all started with our Barbers Safe Space project.

Very motivated to see where we can take this one and how we can really help people to engage men and their difficult thoughts around self harm and su***de. It’s everyone’s responsibility and we all need to be comfortable talking about it. 💪🏻

After three years and a very strong chance of not getting here because of passport nonsense it’s all sun and smiles and some kids moaning. 😂🌞👌
