The quiz night on Friday was a resounding success, with Chef Tony's Mexican-inspired cuisine providing a delightful start to the evening. The questions challenged our members, and congratulations are in order for the Bryers team, who emerged victorious once again. We extend our sincere gratitude to Bill Stodart and Michael O'Donnell for their excellent work as quizmasters. This was our final quiz night before the golfing season commences, but we eagerly anticipate its return in September. Looking ahead, our next event is the race night, and we encourage everyone to secure their tickets promptly.

Mother's Day is on Sunday, March 15th, so you know what that means! It's time to treat the head of the family to a delicious lunch! Chef Tony is cooking up a storm with a special 2-course menu from 1pm to 4pm. Or, if you're an early bird, book brunch from 10 - 12.30pm. The bar menu is also available, so there's something for everyone. Book now being taken at the bar.

The Curry Night on Friday was a resounding success! The food tantalized taste buds, and everyone enjoyed the merriment with friends. A big thank you to Chef Tony and the Bay Leaf Bearsden for their contributions. We had an almost full house, and our team provided excellent service.

I wanted to let you know about the upcoming March Quiz & Mexican Fiesta on Friday, March 13th, starting at 7 pm for a 7:30 pm supper.

Chef Tony is preparing a supper full of Mexican treats of chilli, nachos tortillas, and vegetarian option. It sounds delicious! Tickets are £15 per person, and you can pay at the bar. Make sure to book a table for you, your family, and friends, as the last few events have been fully booked. You won't want to miss out!

A Night of Merriment and a little Burns: A Quiz to Remember.

Our recent quiz night, hosted by the inimitable Ravi Dhillion, was an evening of joyous celebration. Held on Friday, January 23rd, the event combined the traditional Burns Supper with a modern twist.

Ravi Dhillion, our host for the evening, truly outdid himself. He entertained the full house with a captivating poem, a challenging quiz, and a lively game of Play Your Cards Right. For those who missed it, or wish to relive the fun, filmed videos from Sunil Varu are available. The social team, led by Bill Stoddart, deserves high praise for orchestrating such a successful event. Be sure to keep an eye out for their next event in March!
