Hello ladies It’s been a while since I last posted …… and there’s a good reason for my this.

The last few months for me has been a time of deep reflection and an opportunity for me to pause, listen, and really think about the next chapter of my life and my coaching work.

As I will approach 60 in less than two years I’ve had a powerful realisation: that our health is everything.

I’ve been reminded of it in ways I couldn’t ignore:

* I am cancer free, a gift I don’t take for granted.✨
* I want to be fit and strong enough to truly enjoy retirement.✨
* I want to be able to run, play, and laugh with future grandchildren without feeling held back by my body.✨
* I want to wake up with energy, vitality, and joy, not aches, fatigue, or frustration.✨
* I want to feel confident in my skin, not apologetic for the years or the changes that come with them.✨
* I want to explore life fully, travel, dance, and embrace the freedom that comes with this stage of life.✨
* I want to live without limits, to make choices based on desire, not restriction.✨

This realisation is why I’ve decided to focus my coaching on health, mindset, and sustainable weight loss for women ‘of a certain age’

Because I know from my own journey and from coaching so many amazing women that this isn’t just about numbers on a scale. That is the tip of the iceberg!

🍁 When the clocks go back and the days grow shorter, it’s natural to feel a little more tired, less motivated, or even emotionally flat. This seasonal shift can stir something deeper, a longing for light, warmth, and inner steadiness.🍄‍🟫

🍂But just as nature slows down, this time of year also invites us to pause, soften, and reconnect with ourselves. It’s a beautiful opportunity to nurture your wellbeing and find balance within the slower rhythm of the season.🍁

🌅Start by welcoming the morning light. Step outside within an hour of waking, even for five minutes!

Morning light lifts your mood, steadies your energy, and helps you sleep better at night. If daylight is scarce, a light therapy lamp can make a world of difference.

While you stand in the morning air, take three deep breaths and whisper a quiet intention for your day.🙏

Take moments to ground yourself in stillness. Before the rush begins, pause. Breathe. Place a hand on your heart and simply notice how you feel. This gentle act of mindfulness builds emotional resilience. It reminds you that you’re safe, supported, and capable, no matter what the day brings

Create a sanctuary of warmth at home. Soft lighting, cosy blankets, warm drinks these simple comforts send powerful signals of safety and care to your nervous system. Let your space become a haven where you can exhale and recharge.🧡

Move with kindness. You don’t need to push yourself; simply move in ways that bring you back to life. A mindful walk, gentle yoga, or dancing in your kitchen can shift your energy beautifully. Movement releases tension and reconnects you with your body’s quiet strength.❤️

Keep connection alive. Dark nights can feel isolating, so reach out and let yourself be supported. Share a meal, join a group, or simply message someone who lifts your spirits.

Sometimes healing happens most in those simple, soul nourishing conversations.
And most of all, honour the season you’re in. This is a time for rest and reflection, not resistance. You’ve weathered so much already, and this slowing down can be a reminder that rest is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. Allow yourself to pull inward, tend to what matters most, and trust that the light always returns.

Even in the darker months, your light remains, quiet, steady, and deeply alive within you. 💛
