Really disappointed to post this notification and advise everyone who purchased tickets for our Ladies Day@the Races.
After a lot of hard work and organising by our Board member Harry Murtagh, had to unfortunately concede that there was not enough interest being generated for this event.
We are all ‘So very disappointed having to make this call’ … but thanks to the people who were interested.

WOOOOOEEEE … Wondering what’s going on in your local area … why not get all the info tomorrow (SATURDAY 30th May) and find out what’s happening in our local Queens Park Recreation grounds … where our high flying /pro-active neighbours /South Seeds, will be the star attraction where they will be showcasing their newest addition to our local community … why not pop along and find out for yourselves.
THERE’S SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE… YOU’LL BE MADE VERY WELCOME 🤗
On behalf of Queen's Park Bowling Club we send best wishes to Seeds for the much needed restoration of this facility and all the hard work and endeavours in their transformation of the former ‘Changing Rooms’ and make it a memorable day for them 🙏🏻👏

It’s with heartfelt sympathy that we make this post about our longstanding member - MAY McTAGGART.
May, who lived in Clarkston, has been a member of our club for over 30 years -joining in 1994 - and we would to place on record our sincere thanks for her outstanding support and dedication over these years.
May, who celebrated her 92nd Birthday late last year, was a regular attendee at the club and enjoyed playing bowls until recently.
She had a cheery disposition and enjoyed many friendships over the years that she formed with her fellow members - non more so than her great mate Marie Stewart.
To her sons - Iain, Alister and Neil, her grand children, great grandchildren and many friends - we extend our deepest sympathy.
You can pay your last respects
on Friday 29th May @ 2pm
at the Linn Crematorium
and thereafter at the Busby Hotel.
RIP to a lovely soul 🙏🏻
