These 7 steps are applicable to ALL YOGA POSES
What if i could share with you 7 powerful ideas, often forgotten as we strive for more, for Unlocking Ease in the Body - with Yoga Therapy
Let's explore how a drop of yoga therapy can instantly transform each and every pose.
1. Gather Your Calm Breath
2. Find your thoracic calm breath, soft and gentle, like sleeping.
3. Discover where ease lies in your body already.
4. Allow that ease to expand.
5. Find counter-resistance – the secret sauce to deeper relaxation.
6. Be mindful of where you are - let that be good enough before gently leaning into it deeper allowing layers to melt.
7. Lean into the stretch on exhalation with curiosity, not force.
Be amazed at what can happen, even in the tightest areas!

The Truth About Yoga
Yoga class is not for everyone!!!
When you come to see me, I don't just teach yoga, I guide you in unlocking your own inner wisdom, reconnecting and decoding what your body knows. 💡
The Patterns That Hold You Back
and pain in place, let's think ... if you hold a lordosis (swayback by default), what do you think happens in class?
Yep all poses are done with your swayback, enhancing the issue, same with flat feet, soft pelvic floor, head forward posture... getting the picture?
When I watch a client at their first session, they tend to do
ONE OF THREE THINGS
ONE: Flop without resistance (usually hypermobile and in pain, heading for osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis)
TWO: Adopt their default posture in every pose, wherever possible, enhancing the issue
THREE: Push themselves to the limit, thinking that's what it takes to achieve their goals. But most of us fall into patterns that hold us back - patterns adopted to avoid pain triggers that are actually no longer there.

5 Common Patterns to Watch Out For
1. Holding Your Breath: Stiffle breath, tension builds 💆♀️
2. Tensing Up: Scrunch the face, strain in the body 🤦♀️
3. Negative Self-Talk: Feel not good enough, self-doubt creeps in 💔
4. Muscle Tension: Lock the muscle (feels like wood), rigid and inflexible 🌳
5. Forcing the Stretch: Push into the direction of the stretch opening, ignoring your body's signals 🚨

Do you rely on gadgets or meds,too?
I did for years.
I love the support of my Healy, and that's ok with me!
Especially with a huge green behind the house in full grass seed in bloom. ( I am highly allergic and would have had to take antihistamines and keep the windows shut.)
Thanks to my friend Healy - a bio-resonance machine (medical 2 grade - not a gadget at all). I can press a button and go out to play.
I am not dependent on it, as if I use it regularly, my allergies subside quickly.
I am so grateful that I can have my Summer birthday naturally, dancing in the grass, and inviting my friends without swollen eyes, feeling drowsy or sneezing all the time having trouble breathing.
DO I NEED A GADGET, maybe not, but I know to handle my allergies I seem to have tried EVERYTHING from anti-histamine, desensitisation, homoeopathy, tapping, body talk, kinesiology, light & sound therapy... with no satisfactory or lasting result.
