2 days post show, head down for the next goal.
Sunday was great, however nothing to celebrate as of yet. I enjoyed a coffee with friends and family and continued with the diet.
I’m someone who is constantly striving to become better and seeing what can we improve on.
No feedback from the judges yet but Aj knows we can bring more condition, especially off the glutes!
26 days out. We are back digging harder than ever and I promise you you are going to see a totally different person up there.
The self doubt is gone, I know I’m worthy to be competing against the best lads in Britain.

4th and invited to British Finals!
Very big class of 16 lads so to come 4th was massive.
Great day with some amazing people, can’t thank everyone enough who came, messaged or supported.❤️
No celebration meals today, head down to improve for the finals.
Massive thanks to my rock been on this journey together and I can’t describe how much having her helps. Love you so much❤️
And of course the boss, over 3 years in the making and can’t thank the boy enough for his help and support.
The people with me today, this is our journey. My circle you know who you are. Wouldn’t be the person in am without you lot!
Anyway, now to get the head down for the next 4 weeks and improve for the finals!

1 DAY OUT😈
1181 days since I last stood on stage and not one day we haven’t worked.
I can honestly say I’ve learnt so much about myself over these past 3 years, growing to become a better person in every area of my life and to me that’s what’s it’s all about.
Becoming the best version of yourself.
Thank you to every single person who showed any support, from the bottom of my heart I appreciate it.

Peak off-season vs 4 days out.
I know it can be hard, trust me. From always being the skinny/lean guy dealing with body fat at first was difficult.
I used to constantly doubt myself, wonder if I was even making progress and most importantly look any different on stage!
With having a coach, having that second eye and an opinion I valued helped massively.
With having Aj there the reassurance allowed me to not second guess myself and put my energy where it was needed.
This is something I find a lot of my clients need too, a person they trust there to answer questions, reassure them that they are on the right path and take that weight of their shoulders that’s holding them back.
Without this you are constantly chopping and changing what phase you’re in, leaving you frustrated and not allowing you to spend time in the important phases that will help you move forward.
These shots were peak off-season 96kg vs 4 days out 77kg.

From stressed out, overwhelmed and not making the progress he deserved to being in the shape of his life and feeing better than ever!
One of my favourite transformations to date as there was so many chances he could have given up… one being breaking his leg on week 1😅
James used to struggle to find the balance between his busy life as a lawyer, social time and wanting his dream physique.
As I said plenty of opportunities to give up and most people would but with having the support and accountability he needed we made sure that wasn’t an option and the results speak for themselves!
We have some exciting plans for the future together and can’t wait to see where those take us.
Love getting the chance to work along side people like James, to then build our relationship and grow to be very good mates is the cherry on top!
Super proud of you as always and everything you are achieving in life bro. ❤️

This is NOT sustainable.
Fat loss is a phase NOT a lifestyle.
How I feel right now is impossible to do all year round, its temporary and is necessary to get me to where I need to be but it’s only for a limited time!
It’s so important to have phase where we are NOT losing body fat and here’s a few benefits to that…
It can improve flexibility with food, make it easier to build a good relationship with food.
You can fuel your training better allowing you to enjoy it, progress it and actually gain some muscle.
To have more room to enjoy social events, can have food and drinks out more as you have more calories to play with.
It can help set up a future fat loss phase! By having time spent NOT in a fat loss phase, focusing on these other aspects it means that next time round you can put more intent into being successful in that specific goal.

The single most important factor to a great coach.
Of course, knowledge is great and having someone who’s walked the path you want to walk however for me the most important factor is care.
Having a coach that truly deeply cares about your success, actually wants to help you improve and become the best version of yourself.
This is something that I felt massively when I started my journey with Aj over 3 years ago and one thing I back my own coaching to be.
Feeling like you are cared for, a place you feel you belong and something you feel part of.
You aren’t just a number, everyone has different struggles, needs and hurdles to overcome so it’s important we spend time building trust and growing our relationship so we can work on these together.
I have seen and felt fantastic progress with my coach and my clients have too with myself. As long as you are willing to communicate and give your coach the effort back that they give you.
Getting a result is fantastic but getting a result, actually feeling part of something and feeling important beats anything.

“I know I can do better, I’ve tried but don’t have the knowledge to get there”
Having no plan to follow, no knowledge on nutrition and no accountability left Byron with little energy, confidence in the gutter and frustrated at his lack of progress.
We broke down exactly where he was going wrong and where we needed to focus to make the progress he wanted.
Over the last few months he hasn’t only made insane physique improvements but also with gaining knowledge has lead Byron to being more confident and more importantly excited about what he can achieve!
We still have work to do and areas to improve on but with seeing these improvements makes us both very excited about future progress!
Couldn’t be happier with your progress brother, I knew it was going to be a epic journey and we haven’t even scratched the surface.

2 weeks out vs 2 weeks out.
2019-2022 - same weight.
I honestly think it’s crazy this, to think that’s me makes me proud man.
I used to always compare myself to other lads, on holiday or on stage and think will I actually ever be able to look like that.
Throughout the past 3 years I have worked and surrounded myself with some incredible people and have seen more progress than I could ever expect.
Having someone there to answer my questions, to support me on the harder days when I doubted myself allowed me to focus and give me the energy I needed to progress.
As the saying goes proud but never satisfied, I know I have more, I know where I will be. it’s only a matter of time.
12 days. Head down.

Hardest week of prep to date I’m not going to lie. I have had my tough days over prep but this week I could really feel we were digging.
However, as always we kept the head down and done what was needed!
Yesterday we started our reverse into the show which is mega exciting! A small bump up in food yesterday (45g carb ) and a 2.5k step reduction today.
The goal over the next 2 weeks is to slowly fill up, remove any fatigue which will lead to a drop in any fluid retention, better sleep, more energy and of-course a fuller, leaner and better physique!
Will be documenting the next 2 weeks in more detail over in my YouTube so make sure to check that would and show some support😉
