Full-Time: Ruchazie 2–0 Airdrie Albion

Ruchazie came flying out the blocks and showed intent from the very first whistle. A sharp pass from midfield found Jack G in space — he turned, beat a couple of defenders, and calmly slotted into the bottom corner to make it 1–0.
Straight from the restart, Ruchazie kept the pressure on. High pressing paid off as we won the ball in Albion’s box, and Jack G reacted quickest to fire home from a tight angle — 2–0 early on.
After that, the game shifted. Ruchazie dropped deeper while Albion looked to respond with long balls and crosses, but the defence dealt well with everything thrown at them. We went into the break 2–0 up.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Albion pushing hard to get back into the game. Ruchazie stood strong defensively and continued to create chances on the counter. A heated moment on the sideline saw a Ruchazie player receive a second yellow and be sent off, but parity was soon restored when an Albion player was shown red for a dive in the box.

The game opened up with both sides making changes, but Ruchazie saw it out comfortably to secure a 2–0 win and progress to the next round of the cup.
