Wee update from this week
Ricky Perry Triples final played on Monday.
Congratulations to Tom McDonald, Charlie Gorman and Allan Wardle, commiserations to Ali Campbell, Craig Parker and David Kerr
These two teams plus one other will represent the club in GBA Millennium triples starting on Wednesday 24 June.
Last night in RBA, successful night for our triples of Peter Blair, Charlie Gorman and Alan Gray who defeated Cathcart and our Sponsored fours team of David Dave McClean, John Price Jim McLean and Jim French who beat Giffnock.
Both teams play quarter finals next week at Barrhead v Wellcroft and Pollokshaws respectively.
In GBA singles tonight Alan Gray scraped through 21-18 v Kingswood at Clarkston, quarter finals next Wed at Cardonald.
Still awaiting news of our fours team who were playing at North British.
Bowls Scotland resumes tomorrow afternoon and night all the best to all our players.
Unsure of how ladies performed this week in external games, someone that knows can maybe post something.

For anyone playing in RBA ties at Eaglesham tonight there will be no catering after the game, apologies for this but apparently per a vote it was decided nothing would be provided after the game, personally I think that's a shame but we will continue to provide catering for GBA and bowls Scotland games at club.

Fantastic turnout yesterday for the Andy and Jean Memorial Mixed Pairs Trophy.
18 teams participated including 4 of the Fraser family and they performed great, thanks to my partner Karen, we nearly got through.
Winner section A - D Kennedy, S Wallace
Winner section B - M MacDonald, A Kirkland
Winner section C - P Douglas, R Hume
Best runner up - J Wright, C Parker
Played 5 end semi finals, two great games, very tight, winners were Pamela and Robert and John and Craig.
We then played a 6 end final, after taking a 4-0 lead John and Craig were pegged back and it went to final end before Pamela and Robert were victorious.
Tremendous to see so many new members getting through to semi finals.
Same time same place next year, hopefully we get the same weather as yesterday.
Tomorrow we play the Andy and Jean Memorial trophy for the first time in memory of two much loved members.

Very busy time at club, here are ladies games commence Monday 25th May, all the best to everyone involved.
Our gents have been out this week in RBA GBA and Bowls Scotland 1st round games this week.
RBA - success in Pairs and Triples, unfortunately beaten in singles and fours.
GBA - won through in singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours, just beat in Sponsored fours.
Bowls Scotland - won in singles, beat in Pairs, other teams got bye. Not heard about Seniors as yet.
Quite a successful week, back out again next week, all the best to everyone involved.
Gillian Wharton and Billy MacDonald are also through to respective Singles final in East Kilbride Civic, all the best on 6 June.

Busy week ahead for ladies and gents.
Ladies involved in East Renfrewshire ties, Civic cup semi finals resumes tomorrow for both ladies and gents, all the best.
Gents are playing in RBA, GBA and Bowls Scotland games Tuesday till Thursday.
We are hosting GBA games this Wednesday, green closed from 6pm.
Gents friendly v East Kilbride on Saturday 23rd May, 1.30 for 2pm start, team picked and on board.
Very busy with internal ties just now as well, thanks to everyone for trying to play their games, preliminary round up tomorrow for couple competitions.
McRobert 2 bowl pairs played yesterday, weather turned out great.

Busy week for members starting tomorrow with McRobert 2 bowl pairs, 16 teams will play round robin games, semi finals will be played later in season.
RBA, GBA and Bowls Scotland competitions start for our gents this week, all the best to everyone involved.
We are also hosting GBA games at our club on Wednesday from 6pm.
Lots of ties up on Tuesday, hopefully you have arranged to play them.
Well done to our triples teams on Friday who finished 2nd in Croftfoot Challenge Cup, won both games but lost out to Nitshill who had higher shots up.
Back at Croftfoot next Friday to defend Teddy Taylor trophy that we won for first time last year.
All internal ties up and running, prelim ties up on Tuesday 19th May and a number of ties also due to be played by end of May, please arrange and get them played. There will be no extensions.
McRobert 2 bowl pairs on next Sunday 10.30 for 11am, names by Friday 7pm, casual dress code. Please bring a snack as it won't finish till approximately 6pm, depending on entrants.

Eaglesham fairs trophy played last night, well done to our team who finished 3rd, 11 shots up.
The winners last night were Croftfoot who won the cup for the first time (this was only their second appearance) after defeating Chapelton.
Thanks to all the clubs that turned up, the weather held out well.
