Who’s winning?
I saw a stat this week that the majority of people will never sprint again after the age of 30.
We don’t believe that it’s all downhill after 30.
At run club we don’t actually care who’s winning the race (well, mostly) we just want to get people running faster, sprinting and winning at being stronger and more robust.
If you’re sick of a lack of progress in your fitness, come and join us!

Saturday morning sprints. Who’s in?
The weather’s getting better, or a bit lighter in the mornings at least. Time to get out and sprint.
What’s the benfints?
- It staves off aging. How? It slows muscle wasting (which happens to us all after 30). The high impact strengthens joints, and improves tendon and ligament health, as well as building lean muscle.
- It’s a stress buster. Sprinting releases hormones including adrenaline. After the adrenaline rush of a bout of hard work like, these hormones drop, and stress and anxiety fade.
- It improves cardiovascular health.
- It improves metabolism.
These are just a few health benefits of a sprints session. The list goes on and it’s a good laugh when there’s a group and a bit of friendly competition.

It's time for this little girl to go and find some more appropriate toys. She's starting nursery... How time flies.
With this I'm tweaking my schedule.
I'm introducing some SGPT.
Small group personal training is a group programme with a personal touch- there's plenty of coaching, progression and attention to detail plus huge energy and atmosphere in a team environment (up to 6 people per group)
You can sign up as an individual and join a group or form a group yourselves.
Tuesday and Friday mornings @ 7.30am
Monday and wednesday evenings @ 5.30pm.
Send me a DM to get on the list. It's suitable for anyone who wants to take their fitness to the next level.

Good luck to all the gyms reopening today 🙌
For now, we're staying put! This garage has all it needs for successful, enjoyable training for 1:1 training and small groups (up to 6). From the everyday athlete to sports performance and mobility sessions, this space has it covered. For enquiries, just send us a DM.
If you're heading back to the gym, remember that capacity for weight training will have dropped somewhat even if you've been keeping up some training. Go easy for the first week or 2. Lots of different exercises, few sets per movement. Keep yourself in the long game and have fun in the process 👊
Marching into a new training programme!
It's now available to purchase.
We're transitioning from an aerobic base building phase into a a speed conditioning phase.
Who is it suitable for? Anyone who wants to improve their speed & muscle condition and who wasnt to be quicker, stronger and more robust.
Field based sports players ✅
Runners ✅
General fitness enthusiasts ✅
The programme can be completed without any equipment. 6 outlined sessions per week with the recommendation of completing at least 4 of them. It all depends on your schedule and goals.
DM for the programme. You can start any time 👍

New conditioning programme dropping Monday!
The 4 week block is all about improving speed and conditioning the legs for fast pace running.
Who's it for? Field based sports players for sure, and anyone looking to put some power in the legs. If you're looking to become more robust and conditioned, kick on and run a faster time and take your fitness to a new level then you'll be in the right place.
What's involved?
A mix of running (or other chosen form of cardio) and 'no weight' strength sessions- at times you can used bags/ rocks or another object if you please. However this programme will be fool proof and easy to implement anywhere! All you'll need is a phone to remind you of the programme and to watch a short clip that explains the session.
Other details:
4-6 sessions per week.
Some sessions will be best implemented on a track or rugby/football pitch but definitely not totally necessary. A bit of distance judgement may be require though!
Cost- £40 paid via the PayPal link in the bio.
Any questions, hit me with them 👊
