Our Man of the Match today goes to Anuj.
Having only picked up hockey this year, his perseverance and determination have been clear to see every week. Today it all paid off as he scored his first goal for the club in a strong team performance.
A brilliant milestone on his journey, and no doubt many more to come.

The full time result saw GHK 1XI take a 4–1 win over Hillhead 6XI.
Two well taken first-half goals gave GHK a 2–0 lead at the break. After the restart, a third goal saw Hillhead pull one back, but GHK responded with another finish to secure a deserved result.
Major match updates!! Anuj scored his first goal for the club, Syd netted twice with Shanky added another to round off the scoring.
That makes it three wins from three to start the season, with another dominant performance from a small squad who created chances throughout.

This Saturday we’re at home to Hillhead 6s at Old Anniesland, with push back at 12:30.
Both sides sit on 6 points at the top of the league, so it’s set up to be a big early test in the season.

Our man of the match this week is John Giblin, with two well-taken goals and a change from his usual position saw him play deeper. He adapted brilliantly, showing real composure on the ball and working hard both defensively and going forward. A top performance that set the tone for the team – well deserved, Gibby!!

We take on Uddingston 4s with a 12:30 push back.
After last week’s strong start, the team are looking to continue our winning form in front of a home crowd.

What a start to the season! 🔥
GHK opened with a dominant 7–1 win away to Ayr in the first match of the campaign.
Plenty of positives across the pitch - hard work, sharp finishing, and great energy throughout. A strong platform to build from.

GHK take on Greenock this Saturday at Old Anniesland in our final league game of the season – push back at 12:30.
This is the rearranged fixture from November, originally played during a tough spell of form for the squad. We started well that day but let the game slip away in the second half.
Now, with momentum behind us and confidence high, it’s a chance to show how far we’ve come and finish the league campaign on a high. One last push.
