Pollok United 50+

It was the final competitive games of 2025 today and it was the turn for our 60's team to play in the Champions League.
Our boys managed to come out top after a tough set of fixtures adding another trophy to the Pollok cabinet 🏆

A great end to the year for the Pollok family.

Today we had our Christmas lunch to celebrate our friendship and success over the last year.
A fantastic day out with beautiful food served as usual at Bella Vita restaurant 🏆⚽️

This year has been the clubs most successful and thanks to everyone for their commitment to Pollok and for the many good laughs throughout the year.

Today we had the champions league for our over 65's. After going through the league this year winning every game could we keep it up when facing the other regional league winners in Scotland?
The answer was absolutely yes. This remarkable squad of players delivered wins in 5 out of 5 games to lift the champions league trophy and complete a historic treble this year 🏆🏆🏆

Another successful international tournament for the Pollok boys 🏆⚽️

Here we go to an international tournament in Rojales, Alicante 🇪🇸 ⚽️

Today we had the final four games for for the Supervets 60's league. Pollok United came away with the maximum 12 points to win the league 🏆👏
With thanks as usual to Glasgow Life and all referees and to ex-pro John Sutton for coming along to present the trophy.

Some great news to share - with many thanks to Glasgow City Council we were successful in our application for funding for a defibrillator. We will now have this available at all of our sessions. This is literally a life saving piece of kit albeit hopefully we will never have to use it 🙏⚽️

After the success of our 65's on Friday it was the turn of our 50's team to play the final round of league games. In a nailbiting finish which resulted in a goal for Pollok United with two minutes to play, we managed to pip St. Anthony's to the league title. Another 🏆 for the cabinet and a great end to the weekend for the Pollok family. Again our thanks to Walking Football Scotland and all referees 👏
