Ready for a busy day of clients and training! Feeling it after a my first proper session back on Saturday so trying to make sure my intake is back up where it should be eating plenty to try help my body recover ππ©π
I get asked quite a lot what I eat in a day so here it is -
This is a standard training day meals for me. I usually have my egg muffins(some form of egg π³)first thing about 630/7am then have my porridge around 9ish. Pre training I have a smaller portion of chicken veg and rice. Post workout I have a protein shake with added carbs then another larger portion of chicken rice and veg. Then I'll have dinner when I get home whatever time that may be, usually 8/9ish.π΄π ππ
I always tend to prep my meals the day before - just a personal preference, if you're short on time meals can be made 2-3days in advance!

Here is the mothership smashing through her last set of 5x5 deadlifts. My mum is of the generation that think that lifting heavy weights is bad. Instead doing lots of reps at a lower weight is 'best'. After some persuasion to push the weights up... Here we are at 70kg with lots more in the tank. Through eating well and consistently training 2-3times per week over the last 5weeks she is now 1stones lighter and through weight training and exercise classes. She is looking more toned and we are finally starting to build her a b***y πππ Keep up the good work Mumma ππ ***ybuilding

Absolutely delighted with Alan's progress (and so is he - the face says it all) Today he finally touched both toes and held it there with little discomfort. Now I realise this may not look like much to some people but today Alan told me this was probably the first time he has been able to do this in 20years. Every Thursday we spend 30mins of the session working through static and assisted stretches. The progress Alan has made is amazing!
Every Thursday 730-8pm I take a stretch and flexibility class at X-Fit Paisley for anyone interested in improving their mobility. Come down tonight and give it a go β

Saturday I competed in the Scottish Senior Championships at Pitlochry. Where I managed to hit a new competition total 130kg . Sn**ching 55kg and Clean and Jerking 75kg. Sn**ch didn't quite go to plan, as its my favourite lift I was a little disappointed. Had an amazing day with the Glasgow City Barbell team. Quiet week of training this week then head down setting new goals ready for the Scottish Open early next year! Big thanks to Allan Breakthrough Performance for coaching me through the whole process, it's been a crazy year! Excited to see what progress we can make for the OpenπππππΌ
